  • Health-food-store Health Store

An Italian "erboristeria macrobiotica dietetica" that is more of a macrobiotic pharmacy than a typical health-food store: herbal, organic cosmetics, vitamins, supplements, a decent selection of organic foods including produce, tofu, seitan. Closed for most of August. Open Mon-Fri 09:00-19:30, Sat 09:00-13:00. Closed Sun.

De Herbore

Felt more like a soap store to me. There were a few packaged goods, but nothing I could really take to my hotel and prepare later. Saw some energy bars and teas, but that's about it. I left empty handed.

Thanks for the review. I'll be heading into Florence this year and looking for a grocery store to buy some things such as soy milk, tofu, seitan and you know, items to make a few meals. If you have any advice please let me know. We won't have a car.

Some vegan snacks

Small health food store with vegan cosmetics, tea, and some vegan food and snacks. Centrally located. I would recommend buying their branded teas as a gift.

Pros: centrally located

Cons: expensive

Don’t go there

Bad experience with unfriendly sales staff. We walked out.

Pros: A few vegan items. No vegan cheese.

Cons: Rude, unfriendly staff.

Cute Herbal Shop Near Duomo

Cute little herbal shop in Florence. Stocks a variety of items such as teas, skin care, herbal remedies and even stone lamps. Some packaged products in the fridges. Didn't check to see if there were any vegan (pretty sure I saw dairy, could be mistaken though). Bought some vegan multi vitamins for around 16Euro

packaged foods and products

Nice little place with packaged foods/nuts/energy bars and personal care products. I didn't really see any produce while I was there.

Pros: location
