Incredible Pizza

Great food, great service, nice ambience. The pepperoni, squash blossom(?), and artichoke pizzas were all delicious. Our omni friend was very happy

Pros: Great pizza, Good drinks, Good amount of food choices

Cons: Not many sides options

Delicious!

Amazing pizza. Authentic Italian with a creative twist. It’s very clear that the ingredients are fresh and carefully selected. We loved the truffle mushroom pizza the best. It can be hard to find good vegan spots that have a more upscale feel and solid wine menu a nicer dinner, and this place offers that vibe.

Pros: Many creative dishes, Great ambiance for a nicer dinner , Serves wine

Cons: A bit pricey , Indoor seating is on stools, slightly uncomfy

Dreamy 😍

I will be dreaming of this pizza for years to come. This was my first time at a 100% vegan pizza place, and it will NOT be my last! We ordered a single pizza and an order of meatballs, and it was perfect for two people. Both were jaw-droppingly delicious, and we’ve been talking about it all week. Service was quick and friendly, and the wine was fantastic! It is expensive, but well worth it.

Pros: 100% vegan , Creative menu , Good wine selection

I dream of the pizza

This pizza is amazing. So creative. I can't wait until they open their location in Boston because I've been missing it so much since I moved away from NYC!

Best vegan pizza I’ve had yet!

In comparison to other food I’ve had in NYC, it wasn’t that expensive, but I listed it because it is relatively pricey for a personal pizza. The vegan cashew cheese was worth it though! It tasted almost like ricotta. Went with 3 non veg friends and they all said it was amazing how light they felt after, and how they wanted more. I have to go back to try the pasta, but it feels almost like a crime to not have that pizza again 😂 truly delicious

Pros: All vegan menu, Multiple options - pasta, pizza, dessert , Not heavy

Cons: Expensive

Pizza was great. Service appeared overwhelmed.

I didn’t think the pizza was that overpriced as others did given it’s a full service restaurant. I had the tomato basil and it was really good.

Elegant vegan pizza + Italian restaurant

This is a very refined restaurant, with delicious vegan food. Their specialty seems to be pizza-- not a simple slice to grab and run, but to sit down and eat a relaxing meal, perhaps with a glass of wine. (If you want a quick, relatively inexpensive vegan slice, you should instead go to Two Boots, which is not that far from this place.) Although I was not overwhelmed by the food here, it is certainly tasty and elegantly served.

Pros: Elegant restaurant., Food tasted good., Relaxed atmosphere.

Cons: No overly healthy, Not cheap.

Exceptional

The food here is amazing. Subtle flavors that combine very nicely. Also doesn’t make my body feel weird like other vegan pizza places :)

I love this place.

I have been to Double Zero once and also ordered delivery from them. Both times the pizza was amazing! I also ordered a glass of primitivo at the restaurant and it was delicious.

Pros: Great pizza

Cons: A bit expensive

Amazing Vegan Pizza

Great group dinner at 00. Pizza and pastas were all great. Don’t love dining in the bike lane, but happy to get to be at a restaurant safely.

Pros: Some many great pizzas and pastas

Cons: Bike lane dining.

Undoubtedly the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was perfect and the cashew cheese was amazing. Double Zero is of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Matthew Kennedy is a legend!

Delicious Pizza

I have been here multiple times.
I love Matthew Kennedy’s food.
The pesto pizza is AMAZING!

I would recommend eating there. I have tried to take pizza and eat it later. It loses a lot of its sparkle if not eaten right from the oven (once cooled, ofc)

Pros: Great pizza, Cabin-like atmosphere

Underwhelming but consistent

I’ve had the same experience at every Matthew Kenny restaurant I’ve been to. The menu sounds amazing, the food looks incredible, but it doesn’t deliver on the palate. It’s good. It’s just not great.

Very yummy plant Based pizza

So good! The meatball appetizer was a delicious start and the pizza is thin crust and delicious. However, we got the margarita once and the menu didn’t mention an agave drizzle and the pizza was too sweet, had potential though. The pepperoni is crispy thin and weird. Other than that it’s a solid option for a cozy fancy pizza/wine bar for date night!

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Expensive

Best vegan pizza

Hands down best vegan pizza. It’s different than regular pizza but honestly better. The truffle mushroom one and arrabiata have been my favorite so far. Definitely pricey but good quality

Absolutely amazing pizza

Best pizza ever. Let's be honest, homemade nut based cheeses > fake store bought vegan cheese. That's what puts Double Zero ahead of all other pizzerias out there. You can't go wrong here.

Pros: real food. no fake processed cheese here.

Cons: V expensive but you get what you pay for!

Pizza has never been my fav food

But after visiting Double Zero, I changed my mind. It was before Covid so my friend, who was visiting from London, indulged in a whole pie each and as a bonus we dined with Moby and Heather Graham 😁

Yum yum

Artisan pizza restaurant, the place was really busy but we got a spot but by the looks of things I would book if you really want to go here. It's pretty expensive but the food and atmosphere is nice. It's good for a treat.

Pros: All vegan.

Cons: Expensive

A cozy pizza restaurant

It’s a nice restaurant, you can sit comfortably inside. The stuff is very friendly, the pizza was tasty. We paid 19$ for a cashew mozzarella pizza, that’s a little bit expensive but I think it’s ok for New York.

Pros: All vegan, Very nice restaurant , Friendly stuff

Cons: A little bit expensive

Wowza

This pizza really blew me away. We ordered both the spicy something (Can't remember exactly...definitely had mushrooms and nice kick to it) and the truffle mushroom pizza. They are both amazing. The crust is phenomenal... the cashew cheese was great and not overwhelming. It's a little expensive, but I'd say for what you get it's not too bad. We also ordered an artichoke appetizer that was very good as well.

Pros: Excellent food

Cons: Tight quarters, Little expensive

Excellent pizza and other great options. Fun night out

Enjoy going here for date nights. Lots of great drinks and the pizza is excellent. We usually don’t love vegan cheese substitutes but the one here is excellent. I also don’t eat much carbs but they have nice salads and a cauliflower appetizer that’s extremely tasty

Pros: Excellent vegan pizza, Delicious appetizers that are low carb, Great drinks

Now open for lunch!

Great vegan Italian food and a really great prix fixe price of $21 for a three course lunch (weekdays only). Even our non-vegan Italian guests loved this place! A big selection of pizzas, pastas and a couple of great salads. Nice selection of wine and beer too!
