Lovely little spot with fresh food and produce.

The place has only one little table to sit inside, but there is a canal nearby with benches or grass to relaxing meal.

Super cute - Edit
Just left of exit 4 from jingu muratamachi station, this tiny obento shop is easy to miss. The obento labeled Veg are vegetarian/pescatarian ( they use fish broth for some things) you need to tell them you want vegan and they can point the vegan options.

Great food!! - Edit
We had 2 different bentos, we loved both. We wanted to go again, but oh... it's closed during weekends! If I would live in Kyoto I would eat there SO often. The prices are great, good flavours and textures, many options to chose from, good portions... And the staff spoke English enough to offer us the vegetarian options and asked if we ate eggs or not.
Read moreThey have a small table if you want to eat there, it was empty when we visited a Thursday around 1PM, but the place is close to the river so if the weather is good you might consider eating in a bench over there, as we did.
I would give it 5 stars if Happy Cow would allow it!
Pros: Great flavours, many options of vegetarian croquettes, great prices
Cons: It isn't a restaurant, but there are a few chairs, closed on weekends

Love the Bento - Edit
Got a bento here yesterday and loved it! It is a very cute shop near the river so you can buy your bento here and eat it sitting by the river if you like. The content of the bento was varied and healthy but also delicious. We had seaweed, veggie salad, beans, rice and two different kinds of croquettes. There is an English menu available so you can easily see which options are veggie (they also serve meat and fish). She asked us whether fish stock is a problem (I dont mind) and they also show which bento contains egg. Also, the price is very reasonable! We will certainly come back.

great lunchboxes - Edit
I already knew the shop for a long time and finally made it eating a lunchbox of them. It was delicious! They also sell meat containing lunchboxes, but the vegan options are clearly marked. For a vegan lunchbox you can choose 2 out of a few croquettes. The lunchbox was around 780¥, which is a really good price I think.
Read moreThey also sell organic food and cleaning agents.
Pros: healthy, japanese style lunchbox, organic, price is more than reasonable
Cons: only take-out
