Koh phangan coconuts Are NOT VEGAN - Edit
Thai coconuts are not vegan. They use slave labor of monkeys to harvest the coconuts for them. Monkeys are chained when not working and work Monday- Saturday from 9-5, with a short lunch break.

I have learned the monkeys only harvest the mature coconuts used for making curries. They do not harvest the young cocos because these are too fragile., what do u think?
