cool place in Rome - Edit
I didn't even expect to find such a cool raw/vegan cafe in Rome where you can even drink capuccia with almond milk. Definitely the place where I am planning to return when in Rome.

love - Edit
beautiful dishes w complex flavors. lady makes them right behind the counter in front of you. I loved it, my dad however looked like he was in pain. if you're w meat eaters beware that this is a vegan raw place and they might get uncomfortable since they can literally eat everything..👿on second thought tell them to suck it up

amazing raw food in Rome - Edit
I ate way too much food here and loved every second of it. Raw food is my favorite so maybe I'm a bit biased but Ecru was a very special experience and I would advise anyone to go here.

Una delicia! - Edit
Todos los platos estaban deliciosos y cada plato lo elaboran a la vista y con mucho mimo en su preparación. Se nota que les gusta lo que hacen ya que tanto en el trato como en la cocina es de diez!

I do recommend. - Edit
Sandwiches can be made both raw or cooked(with wheat bread). i had a raw sandwich, raw sushi plate, raw pesto zucchini noodle. the zucchini noodle was kind of bland, but the sandwich and the sushi are super well put together and yummy. We were 2 people, we were pretty full after the three dishes and a smoothie.

How rude! - Edit
We were very excited about having lunch at Ecru after seeing their fantastic menu. However, when we arrived, we were told to sit outside in the heat when there was clearly an empty table for two inside. The waiters never came to take our order, so we ended up leaving. We think we were discriminated. How rude!

Loved it! - Edit
I spent over 15 minutes to decide what I wanted off the menu, since I kinda wanted it all! Ended up with beetroot noodles with pumpkin sauce, pumpkin chips and kombucha! I loved it! I wish they had booch with different flavors though.

The best vegan place in Rome - Edit
The food was amazing, really yummy, we had a breakfast option (even though it was lunch but they were kind enough to let us have it), I had hazelnut milk hot chocolate, sandwich on homemade bread with hummus, coffee, cashew yoghurt and muesli, and then raw chocolates. Definitely recommend this place!

A typical raw food restaurant - Edit
If you're a fast (or cooked) food lover, this is not the place for you. It's very nicely presented, all (or mostly) raw dishes. I have worked in a raw restaurant before, and it looks very similar - in design and food. We had carrot noodles and soushi (I liked soushi but didn't think carrot noodles were worth 9 euros). Flavours were okay, but the dishes are on the pricy side. I tried a fermented hibiscus drink and it wasn't good at all (but probably very healthy?).

Cons: Pricey, No cooked food options for companions, Unfomfortable chairs

Great raw food - Edit
Nice restaurant with an inventive raw vegan menu. We had a nice selection of raw cheeses and appetisers. The burgers are also great, as well as the raw pulse hummus (chickpea or pea). The desserts were also very nice. Friendly staff.

Good stuff - Edit
Pretty much exactly what you expect from a raw vegan restaurant (and that's a good thing). Good atmosphere and tasty, healthy food. A little on the expensive side for us as we are backpacking with a tight budget. We had a salad and a sandwich/burger. Both were good. Everything in the case looked great too, but we couldn't afford it.

I got lost as a tourist but it is actually easy to get there by just walking or even bus.
Read moreThey have a large menu and everything is raw. They have drinks, soups, desserts, snacks, entrees, everything!!.
It was my first raw vegan restaurant and I enjoyed it completely and totally recommend it!,
Service is great, the place is not so big though but it's really nice with a calm nice environment.
The sushi is amazing!!
I don't know what is considered cheap for italians but I always order a lot when I visit a restaurant so my bill definitely wasn't the cheapeast. But you get good quality and carefully prepared food so it's good for the price.
They also sell some raw vegan products, even celery salt!!
Pros: Delicious Raw food, Nice service, They sell raw vegan products!!

Decent food close to the Vatican, and it's all vegan. Lots of raw items so the food is a little different than most restaurants. A little on the pricey side as well.
