Raw vegan restaurant and bistro with an open kitchen, preparing everything in-house from raw seasonal ingredients. Savory offerings include raw noodles, veggie sushi, proteic sandwiches, avocado tartare, crepes, tacos and vegan cheese. Desserts range from almond and cashew tiramisù, seasonal fruit cheesecakes, and more. Drink choices consist of kefir, kombucha, fresh seasonal juices, milk shakes with cold-pressed almond milk, natural wines, cocktails and specialty coffee. Breakfast dishes consist of chia puddings with cashew yogurt and buckwheat granola, and banana and brasil nuts crepes filled with hazelnut, coconut sugar and cocoa cream, or sugar-free fruit yogurt. Full menu available all day. Open Mon 12:00-21:00, Thu-Fri 12:00-21:00, Sat 12:00-23:00, Sun 12:00-21:00. Closed Tue & Wed. Hours are subject to change - check ahead.

Absolutely loved this place! sat here for a few hours and just ordered more and more. A fully raw vegan restaurant, and the only one in Rome. I tried the crepe (was amazing!!) smoothie, juice, guacamole and juice. Could easily sit here for the 4 hours and just enjoy life. To go I took a raw vegan dessert that tasted like the ferrero chocolate (just wow!)

Fuimos a este local por sus buenas calificaciones , pero la comida no tenía nada del otro mundo, ensaladas sin mucho Sazón, el sushi eso si estaba delicioso. Los jugos son muy pequeños ni 150cc para 6 eu, lo que más nos impresionó fue que para ser un local tan chico y con solo 2 meses ocupadas la atención fuera tan mala y desinteresada, casi como si estuvieran haciendo un favor con atender.

I had the Gourmet Crepe, which I quite enjoyed. My partner had the Seaweed pasta, which was on special; unfortunately it was far too salty (even though he is the type of person who likes seaweed), and really did not enjoy it.

Overall quite good and I would go back, but perhaps exercise caution with some the more experimental dishes

Yummy vegan find in Rome - Edit
We were so lucky to find this charming little place on our first morning in Rome. The food was delicious and fresh, many vegan options for us, served by sweet women in a darling atmosphere. The salad and sandwiches were very fresh and tasty, and the beverages were yummy. The location was so convenient for us, as we were staying just over the river in Trastevere. The atmosphere was beautiful and the servers were very friendly and accommodating.

We went for dinner looking for the pesto pasta and they didn't had that option, and many more were sold out including the juice of the day . Ended up trying what was avaiable and the taste wasn't the tipical, very good food for a change, just dissapointed they had so many things sold out already and web arrived by 9pm.

I’m not really a fan of raw vegan food, but the folks know how do deal with it. In any case: I can recommend the Gourmet Crepes; tasty, but not outstanding.

The food was very detailed in flavor and high quality. While it might seem like small portions, the burger I had was very filling and tasted amazing. The prices were a bit higher than usual(for Rome) but definitely worth it.

A great place to visit if you are vegan in rome. The food seems a bit healthier than some of the other places we’ve been at in Italy. Lots of vegetables, which I enjoyed. However, might be a little too “vegan” if you are more into meat substitutes etc😉

After days of eating heavy vegan pasta, our meal at Ecru was just what my husband and I needed! He had the sushi and I had the greek salad. Both were delicious! The food was super fresh!

We stopped for lunch here and could not be happier. The warm welcome from the lovely hostess made us feel right at home. The raw bread and avocado was interesting and great to try a new way of eating. The fermented yogurt and homemade peanut butter was amazing along with the cappuccino made with homemade almond milk. Defo coming back again.
