Serves meat, vegan options available. A small take away serving only open sandwiches (tostas). Three vegan choices are pisto manchego, mushroom & tomato stew and pa amb tomàquet (tomato, garlic, olive oil). Open Sat 12:00-17:00, Sun 09:00-17:00. Closed Mon-Fri.

Awesome tosta

I ordered the mushroom & tomato stew open sandwich and it was really, really tasty (that includes the bread, which was excellent). The place is really small and there is very little place inside to eat in (no seating, you'll have to eat your choice standing against the counters). Anyway there's a take-away window which works really fast, and then you'll have to find some place in the always busy "el Rastro" flea market to eat it (this makes the experience quite uncomfortable IMO). This eatery is always busy, with a long queue of customers waiting to make their order, however we paid them a visit on the last Sunday of July and didn't have to wait a all.

Pros: Super tasty vegan options, filling, inexpensive, quick service, friendly staff

Cons: very little place to eat in, funny smell inside, finding a place to eat in "el Rastro" can be hard

Tostas veganas

En medio del rastro, este bar tiene una gran selección de tostas, algunas de ellas veganas. Probé la de setas con tomate y estaba muy buena, una gran experiencia.
