Staff were great and friendly. I had the CHAMPIPAPAS which was the MIX OF NATIVE POTATOES, MUSHROOMS & FIRE-GRILLED PORTOBELLOS. It came with a spicy salsa on the side which elevated the meal for me - as I love spicy food.

A really typical Peruvian dining experience with a great menu packed full of flavour. They also do a really strong pisco sour which you may or may not have to leave after a few sips. Would have loved to visit this place again and would 100% recommend.

I visited El Jardín de Jazmín after a recommendation from a limeña friend, and it was wonderful! The restaurant is tucked inside a gallery along with other small shops, and the fairytale-like decor makes it feel magical. I ordered the pachamanca, a dish with vegetables, potatoes, mushrooms, and a green sauce. It was incredibly flavorful and conforting, or as we say in Brazil: "a food that feels like a hug". The owner is French and she was super friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I definitely recommend visiting!

I had the asparagus tartar consisting of toasted black quinoa, avocado hummus, grilled asparagus, capers and sage chips and was taken with the taste of the dish. The portion size was much smaller as expected, particularly as I asked the waitress beforehand about it, thus I wasn’t sated. I chose to not order anything else and take the opportunity to visit a nearby shop also listed on Happy Cow.

I was served by the most friendly and welcoming staff. I wanted to have hummus and chips (something off from the menu) and the staff made sure that my ask was fulfilled with great generosity and much love!

This place is in a small courtyard. To find it, look for the address, then look for the sign outside--then go inside the courtyard and look around, you'll find it, and the search is worth it.
Read moreI came here twice during my short stay in Lima. The food here is so creatively and carefully prepared, with healthy ingredients. Everything about this restaurant is amazing: the setting, the service, the food, etc. A true experience not to be missed; it is worty a special trip to Lima!

First off the plane wanted to try the local cuisine vegan style, so found this absolutely lovely little gem near our hotel.

Also had the medicinal cacao which the waitress said would be very strong but truly was exactly what I needed after 24 hours of travelling.. and the orange and cacao cold brew was very tasty as well!
Came back for more amazing food, (Flame Grilled Cevipalta - so so so amazing!!) and omg even their beer is peak quality! Kind of want to move to Peru just so I could eat here more often 😅
My last day in Peru for this holiday so ofcourse I had to come back to my favourite restaurant in Lima! The pachamanca did an outstanding job at making me feel amazing

Walking distance from our hotel and oh what a find! Gluten free, naturally sourced food we had been on the look out for. The sopa de quinoa was brilliant on so many levels - flavor, texture and presentation - most of all, nourishing.

I tried one dish and although it was very tasty, the portion was very small for the price. It took a long time to prepare which I didn't mind and they apologised several times for it.
