Read moreUnfortunately I had already eaten dinner earlier but I managed a pudding here - Tarta De Verano (summer tart). It was gorgeous. Creamy, flavoursome, and ‘healthy’ ish!
I definitely recommend visiting - and for a full dinner. The main courses looked lovely too.
Staff were very helpful and spoke good English - thankfully for me.

A great find, thanks to Happy Cow, a lovely small establishment with a great menu and nice staff. Which filled up soon after we arrived. Whilst English is spoken by the host, its as would be expected not their first language. There is no issue as the full menu is available online here: https://www.elmedveg.com . It's well worth taking a detour to try out this place. Would definitely visit again.

This place is amazing. I stayed in El Medano for a week, ate here every evening and can say that everything on the menu is imaginative, carefully made and absolutely delicious!
Read moreThere's an English menu on their website page with a QR code link on each table. The descriptions are helpful and the photos are an honest picture of what you will get. Don't be fooled by it's unpretentious look, the food is some of the best I have tasted and the service is perfect. There's a friendly vibe with diners chatting to each other, at least between 6-8 pm (I wasn't there later in the evening).
The place is so good it is a reason to return to El Medano!
