Cute little place

Surprise meal haha Interesting; maybe there’s just one meal of the day. It was good anyways, though they should ask for allergens or something. Pretty decent portion for 6.90€

Cons: Limited seating

Kein Essen mehr da...

Wir waren um 14:30 Uhr dort und bekamen leider nur noch die Auskunft, dass es nichts mehr zu essen gibt... sehr schade

Amazing healthy affordable food

I go here pretty much every week because they always have a lunch menu for less that €6! The staff is super friendly and they even have a mini-market inside of the bistro to buy their products, you can even buy things in bulk without packaging! And they have vegan soft serve !!

Awesome fresh daily Vegan food.

Delicious fresh food with a daily menu with cakes to die for and a choice of incredible Vegan/Bio ‘Supermarket’ food to take away. Great service and very attentive staff😄we visit as often as possible and we’re never disappointed. Location isn’t hard to find. Just use your maps and it takes you straight there.

Pros: Fresh daily menu, Ice cream and cakes, Eat in or take away

Average food

I come very close past here every day on the way to work and finally made the small detour to try it out! It was a bit hard to find, and there wasn’t very much seating, which meant I had to take away my food, which isn’t what I wanted. I couldn’t find a regular menu, just the daily one, so chose pasta and vegan bolognese sauce. I thought the price was good, around 5€ for the main, although once I got home and ate the food, I was disappointed with the portion size and the texture of the pasta (crumbly, perhaps it was gluten free). I would have loved to use their bulk section but everything was empty unfortunately!
I am a recovered ‘clean’ (i.e. disordered) eater and I think the health-oriented food and general vibe of the place just didn’t suit me.
To their credit, the staff were attentive and friendly :)

Pros: Nice staff

Cons: Hardly any seating

Hidden gem

Very health-focused, small café. Sadly the location is a bit off... was rather hard to find and it's not in an area where I would presume so many customers would come by, but anyway - the food is very high quality, the prices affordable and I loved the shop in general. Staff is very welcoming.

Pros: Excellent food, Organic

Cons: Hidden location

perfect for package-free storable goods

A cute store with very personal service - you can get most storable goods (rice, beans, nuts etc.) package-free and vegan of course - just bring your own bags or containers! They have a vegan daily menu and superb raw pastries (the brownie is AMAZING). Go check it out especially if you are trying to avoid waste.

Pros: bring your own containers, raw pastries, vegan menu

Cons: takes a bit of time to shop a lot

Surprisingly nice Restaurant and shop

The shop/restaurant is not easy to find and defitnitly far away from the inner city. The menu is small but everything I've tasted was good and the staff is nice and helpfull. There you can buy almost any dried food, such as beans, legumes, herbs and superfoods and so on. Besides, you can bring your own jars and containers and avoid packaging waste.

Pros: Complete vegan.

Cons: Not easy to find.

Wonderful surprise

When staying on the outskirts of Vienna centre I didn't hold out much hope for vegan, or even vegetarian, food. What a surprise Elmira was just across the road from my hotel.

The couple running Elmira were so friendly and knowledgeable (and much better at English than I am at German). They seemingly hand make ALL of their food; from the jams to the lentil bagels and even all the milks.

I definitely recommend their acai berry bowl, it's one of the most delicious breakfasts I've ever had.

Pros: Friendly staff, Homemade food, Great breakfast

Cons: Closed on Sundays

Great place for nice salad and bit of shopping

Very nice salad options for take-away. Basic seating in shop (looks like waiting room). Good collection of dried fruit & nuts and bought some good protein powder for smoothies.

Easy walk from docking river cruise ships.

Pros: Friendly owner, Good selection of organic produce, Nice, healthy salads

Cons: Lunch corner can be better, feels like waiting room

An oasis for Viennese vegans

I had this huge acai bowl with goji berries. It was one one of the best things I’ve had for breakfast in a while. They tried different recipes for this smoothie bowl and they think they are going to stick with this one. I have to say that the coconut syrup they put on top of your bananas was heavenly.
They have a nice dried nuts, seeds and beans rack of drawers. They produce and source everything themselves and some of the trail mixes are also made in-house.

Pros: The dried fruits and nuts shelves, Ice-cream options, Nice smoothies and smoothie bowls: acai bowl

Cons: Nothing

Amazing Vegan Shop & Bistro

This place is simply overwhelming! My favorite is the vegan ice cream, which tastes delicious! But also the snacks are so healthy & freshly prepared with love! You can also buy organic and vegan products in there, which are also in the snacks.

So its a must do-to, must-see and must-try in Vienna!!

Pros: Vegan ice cream, organic ingredients also avail. without packaging, Tasty snacks f. breakfast, etc.
