Unconvincing - Edit
This place has been around forever, so I must have eaten there a handful of times. I recall having eaten a good, filling wrap, while another time I settled for a baklava (and a good conversation with the owner), having just learned it was vegan. Alas, I was out of luck last time. I had heard rumours the restaurant may have turned fully vegan, but that wasn't the case.. at all. Gone was the vegan baklava, and other sweet items that I found enticing (cheesecake, etc) inexplicably contained animal ingredients. As such, I went for a date ball with walnuts which, at 45 sek, I found decent but super expensive. I requested a receipt but was given a funny paper that stated the purchase had been cancelled, that no card was shown (obviously, since I always paid in cash) and whatnot. A second attempt was made by staff, to no avail. Once I finished eating I approached him again with my query. Apparently he spoke limited Swedish, and possibly no English, but producing a proper receipt can't require all that much experience or language skills? Maybe if I had said the word Skatteverket (Tax Agency) he would have understood what I was getting at? I e-mailed En Deli Haga and simply asked how much the date ball cost. No reply. I'm willing to take back some of this criticism if I'm given a proper justification, but for now I can't say I recommend this place anymore.

Decent and cheap buffet, too bad for the hummus - Edit
Nice vegetarian buffet resto in the beautiful Haga area. The hummus was wet, grainy and bland though, a shame. Nice free soup and fresh lemonade.

Okay breakfast plate - Edit
I saw this place has a vegan breakfast plate and ordered it with no idea of what I was going to get. It was a bit of a mixed bag, lots of spreads and bits which were good. The hummus was excellent, a bit chunky and well flavoured. The lentil ball was great, I can beat describe it as a tarka dal pate. The fig spread was nice and sticky and sweet. The cheese was fine, it tasted like slices of a pretty standard cheese like a Violife. The fruit was a bit dull, I don't like paying a premium for someone to slice a couple of bits of fruit on to my plate. I would much rather have had a few more bits of bread for all those spreads.

Cons: Little bread for the spreads/cheese

Everything here is fresh and delicious. We had a selection of delicacies. I highly recommend the option of trying them all (comes with a soup of the day and coffee/tea). Also located on a charming pedestrian street. Will come back!

Very tasty vegan buffet - Edit
A buffet with serveral options, all but 1 were vegan. Including a soup and bread. Healthy and great taste. There are several vegan sweets as well. Cosy place to sit inside as well as outside. Located in the old city center Haga which is a great place to visit.

A very nice, vegan, Lebanese buffet - Edit
The lunch buffet is completely vegan and gluten-free, so you will have a lot of options. The food is Lebanese and feels very fresh. It is a bit pricey, but then again, it is located at one of the most popular shopping streets in Gothenburg!

Best option for vegan lunch in Haga - Edit
The dishes are usually delicious. TIP: a lot of people don’t know this, but you’re allowed to go up and ask for refills as many times as you want. (Quite genius from a business perspective since Swedish people generally won’t ask for more, hehe.) So go here and treat it as a non-self serve buffet!

Vegan Baklava!! - Edit
Wow this place was delicious. First we had the baklava (vegan and made in-house) then went back again for more baklava and to try the raw chocolate-pistachio cake! Both were fantastic and came with coconut cream topped with pomegranate seeds. Heavenly vegan desserts - not to be missed especially if you are in Haga! The main food looked delicious as well, wish I'd had the chance to try it :)

I got the all you can eat, but you can also get food pies with salads on the side. The cauliflower/chili/cream dish was amazing and so was the mango tabouleh. They also have cakes and baklava.
