Very bad experience, given non vegan food - Edit
I read here that the staff knew what was vegan and what wasn't. I asked the waiter which courses were vegan, he started by pointing at the naans. I know that naans usually contain yogurt so I was surprised and asked again. He said yes, so I ordered garlic naan bread. I pointed at a dish from the vegetarian page in their menu that looked vegan to me and he confirmed it was so I ordered it. He brought me the naans and I took a bite and promptly realised they were covered in butter. The man said yes it was vegan but yes there was butter on it. He took them away and eventually someone else came and brought my main dish, with naan bread again. It took me a moment to get him to understand that I was vegan, but eventually he did and this second person knew what was and wasnt vegan. I was about to take a bite of my main dish when he came back in a rush telling me there was also butter in it and he would make me a new one. It took 20 minutes for them to bring the vegan dish and it was a level zero spiciness even if I asked for a medium. This experience reminded me of why I try to avoid non vege/vegan restaurants.

Tasty food - Edit
Meal was great, close to city centre. We were the only people in the restaurant which kind of felt weird at the beginning but the food was delicious and staff super attentive. They have a page of about 12-15 vegetarian dishes - it is labelled vegetarian but they don’t specify which are vegan so it’s best to ask. It is reasonably priced too - the vegetarian mains were between 7-9 euros and they all come with rice and they are very filling! Definitely recommend if you’re craving an Indian feast :)

Tasty Nepalese food - Edit
A cute couple runs this small Nepalese restaurant with a full menu page of vegetarian dishes. Tasty Nepalese food and competitive prices. The naan bread "portions" are huge and very tasty.

great food in a great city - Edit
Having read reviews of this place I decided to try it out as it was close to where I was staying. A full page of vegetable dishes all of which could easily be made vegan if you ask. Very friendly and helpful staff and great food. Made a reservation to return the next evening!

Excelent - Edit
Era sábado e os restaurantes estavam todos cheios. Estava a seguir todas as indicações da Happy Cow. Já a caminho do carro para ir para outra ponta da cidade, decidimos fazer um desvio para ver este. Hesitámos. E acabámos por entrar. E valeu bem a pena. Comemos bem. Os pratos dão para duas ou três pessoas (por isso sobrou comida!) A comida deliciosa e o atendimento muito bom. Obrigado! (o preço também bastante em conta)

Decent Curry for a Low Price - Edit
This was a great option for a quick and relatively cheap evening meal in the centre of Lisbon - the curry is of decent quality, and the place seems to get a good mixture of tourists and locals.

Great Food, nice atmosphere - Edit
This restaurant is a little difficult to find and only takes cash but is worth it. The food was delicious. We split two curry dishes, one with chickpeas and one with eggplant, both were great and were served with rice. The eggplant was actually one of the best eggplant dishes I've ever had, and I love eggplant. The dessert had milk in it so I couldn't have it, but it looked great and my friend loved it. We had a really good time here.
