A fully vegan, premium & artisan micro bakehouse & café. Located in an 18th Century building in the heart of Porto. Take away only. Focused on quality ingredients, favoring local & organic. Bakes only small batches of baked goods - the most famous being the pastel Esfinge, but also includes empanadas, focaccia, sourdough (stoneground organic), gluten free bread, pastries and cookies. Serves selected coffee from the Negrita Roastery (since 1924). Also on offer is soft serve ice cream, coffee drinks, kombucha, ciders and more. Open Sat 10:00-14:00.

Try Pastel Esfinge - Edit
Very cozy corner in Porto. Lovely menu options, ranging from bakery to soft serve to coffee. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Getting to know them made the experience more enjoyable from already a delectable Pastel Esfinge (coconut tart).

We got two types of cookies, cinnamon brioche croissant and tofu empanada and everything was great! Recommend going early in the morning as we went at 11am on a Saturday and there was only one croissant left.

For now we're only 2 people baking & doing everything in the artisan way, so we don't usually have a lot of quantity, we bake smaller batches so everything is always fresh & a great experience for everyone :D But yes, the croissants sell a bit faster sometimes!

Amazing vegan food - Edit
A lovely little place with amazing vegan baked goods. We tried 4 of the empanadas as well as the pastel de nata which were all delicious. Our favourite thing though was the soft serve ice cream which is homemade and a different flavor every day. We had a melon flavoured one which was so refreshing and creamy. Very friendly people working here too!
