Great as described - Edit
Super little hole in the wall place. Wash your hands at the sink in the entrance, crowd in and order. Don’t let the lack of English slow you down. Order a falafel with everything. Try the mango sauce on the counter/eating area on the left, then take your pita sandwich out and eat on the bench on the sidewalk. They will split these in half if you’d like to share. About 20NIS or 30 with a drink.

Probably The Best Falafel In TLV - Edit
Wow, this truly is a hidden gem. Located nearby most vibrant markets, this place is easy to miss when passing by, but it's so much worth visiting!
Read moreThe staff is friendly, and while the seats are limited, it's a perfect place to grab a falafel to eat on the go. The hummus, the warm and soft pita, and the falafel itself - everything is just perfect. Now it's my go-to falafel joint, be sure to try it out!
Pros: Delicious , Central Location, Nice Staff
Cons: Not really suitable to dine-in

Must try! - Edit
This is the first place my fiancé and I ate outside of our hotel on our scouting trip to Tel Aviv (we are moving here soon) and we are now actually looking in this area just to be close to this spot. I’m only mildly kidding. There are falafel restaurants all over the city, of course, but many of them serve shawarma, so we won’t eat in them, but this little authentic street shop serves fresh and hot falafel with Israeli salad, Israeli pickles, hummus, tahini, etc. We were happy that we were able to order in English as both of us need to work on our Hebrew (me especially) and got a beautiful and delicious meal with drinks for under the equivalent of US$15 (55 NIS.) My favorite part of Israeli food is all the herbs. There is plenty of parsley here and I LOVE parsley, so if you’re wondering what that flavor is in your Israeli salad, that’s it.

delicious old-school vegan falafel joint - Edit
Very pleased with this old-school falafel experience. The shop is very small, with seating for eight inside and space for a dozen or so outside, including public benches.
Read moreThe falafel is fantastic. Be sure to order with chips (French Fries), as they are an excellent (& light) addition to the sandwich.
The chatter between the preparers and the customers is fun to be a part of as well - lots of jokes and laughs abound.
Pros: delicious, vegan, try the chips (french fries)!
Cons: small

Smooth/Delicious Falafel - Edit
What Israeli Falafel and American Bagels share in common, is that they should be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Falafel banin is exactly that!
Read moreThe Falafels here are little yellow balls (which you could eat like popcorn) that are really fresh, with a flavor and texture inside which is much smoother than the more commonly found green falafel balls,
Johnny, the owner (and the son of the original owners), is also a character who takes tremendous pride in his product. The first time I went in, I tried ordering without french fries and he strongly persuaded me to include them. Wow, was he right!!! These are no common instant fries, they are fresh potatoes fried up deliciously and one of the best parts of the meal.
This is a place with a steady stream of regular customers where you'll find the common folk of Israel, There's a reason this place has been a Tel Aviv Falafel institution for over 60 years, and hopefully it will be for another 60, as we say in Israel, Ad 120 (at least!)

we really liked this place - Edit
the staff were so lovely and the falafel pitas were just what we hoped for, 17 shekel for one I think, fair price for tasty vegan fast food. we will most probably return during our short time in tel aviv. the included fried potato was the closest thing I've had to fish since becoming vegan!
