Cheap and tasty, but needs improvements - Edit
Some weeks back we went to get takeout at 5:30pm on a Sunday, but the place had just closed even though the closing time was supposed to be 6pm.
Read moreThis time we visited around lunch and got the “Vegetarian plate” which is actually vegan, costs $23 and was big enough to satisfy 2 hungry adults.
It consists of a large plate with 7 falafels, hummus, a fava bean dip called Foul, a smaller plate of pickles and fresh tomatoes and a raw onion wedge, and a medium sized basket of pita bread.
It was super tasty and cheap, we even bought the $55 Big Family Box to take home which has 30x falafels, hummus, foul, pickles (this also had grated lettuce too), tahini, and a bag of pita.
Sad that they serve meat now, and prices have increased, but it’s still very cheap considering what you get.
The staff were sweeping the floors while customers were still dining in, it would have been more considerate to do this after seeing as no one wants to breathe in the dust floating around while eating.
Pros: Great falafels, way better than store-bought, Favs bean dip “foul” is yummy, Great portions, economical
Cons: Unfortunately no longer veg*n, serves meat, Would be nicer if they swept after closing up, Hours not clear / being adhered to

Lacklustre & Overpriced - Edit
For $23 a tray with 7 falafels, a blob of hummus and dollop of some bean dish was served with a handful of pickled vegetables, half an old tomato and half a packet of white Lebanese bread. The tastiest part of the falafel was the oil they were fried in, which tasted like it hadn’t been changed in a very long time. Opposite Upfield Train Station, on a busy road in Campbellfield, it’s obviously not the real estate hiking the prices of the food so far from the quality.

Delicious Falafel - Edit
visited this awesome spot as I was in the area. For the price it’s hard to beat. It was $7 for a large Falafel wrap, $6 for a standard size. It was fresh and delicious. The large was very filling. The spices was bang on and it reminded me of a slight southern fried cheicken spice blend which I didn’t mind at all.

So tasty and great price! - Edit
Had a delicious falafel wrap and sat in to eat. The ladies serving were very friendly. I ordered a large for only $7 and it was huge! The size of 2 wraps. The falafels were so delicious, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Tahini dressing was amazing. Definitely recommend!!

Great felafel - Edit
I was in Broadmeadows and decided to try felafel Moudy on the way home. I got takeaway roll which was great. Really fresh and well made. Felafel does in fact taste 'home made' . Got some vine leaf rolls too, also very yummy. I got the chilli sauce which I really enjoyed but don't go there unless you really like hot chilli.

Cons: Out of the way unless you are a local, Salty, yum, maybe not every day food
