AMAZING! DO NOT MISS! - Edit
We found this spot in an evening wander of town. And what a find it was. Amazing food and amazing people. Everyone made us feel at home and the place has a nice vibe. Wow, the homemade ginger ale is delicious. We shared our meals and the flavors were great. Then on to dessert, Catalán Cream. Oh, we'll, wanted 2 more. Wonderful texture and flavor and it is brûled at the table. Dinner was so delicious we went back a couple days later. This time not making the mistake of sharing dessert. Catalán cream again for the win. This restaurant would be on my short list when returning to Barcelona.

Read moreThis was a very nice surprise! Both the Thai curry and the black garlic parmentier were great. The curry could use plain white rice to balance the flavours though. The brownie for dessert was wonderful, but a bit too much for us.
Their own ginger beer and the cocktail they make with it are great.
The friendly staff finished the great experience!

Food tasted amazing, the kitchen outdid themselves with a vibrant seasonal menu where the vegetables are really the stars of the show -- I ordered the broccoli!

The wife and I went there for dinner, chose the 6 course menu (great value for money btw) with wine pairing. We were absolutely amazed. The combination of flavours, presentation and the whole atmosphere were just spot on. Will definitely come here again when we get a chance.

Overall Wonderful Meal with a Few Near Misses - Edit
Four of us visited Fat Veggies on Sunday night for a special birthday dinner. We ordered most of the appetizers and several of the mains on a smallish but very appealing menu. The croquettes were out of this world and the calabaza hokkaido ravioli was incredibly innovative and delicious. We all loved the black garlic parmentier with wild mushrooms and an egg on top. Really fantastic tastes! Neither the chickpea blinis nor the focaccia was particularly memorable, but we enjoyed them. While we appreciated the sauces that were served with them and the dishes were truly gorgeous, we were somewhat disappointed that both the carrot and the broccoli dish were basically served seared but raw. As several of the carrots were quite large and woody it did not make for a pleasant eating experience for any of us--and the broccoli dish was fine but underwhelming. That said, we had a lovely evening and we appreciate the restaurant and its approach to vegetarian cooking. Also, our waitress was gracious and attentive. We will certainly visit again another time that we are in Barcelona.

Loved the vegan food here. I tried two appetizers ( seasonal croquette and taco ) in addition to one main which is the vegan ravioli with pumpkin! If you are a fan of vegan food without alternative means you would love this one.

They don’t have a big selection (about 5 Starters and 5 Main dishes, plus 3 deserts), but everything is really really delicious and made from local and seasonal products, in-house (even the kombucha!). All dishes also have vegan options.

Very nice place with friendly staff! They make their own Kombucha and Ginger Beer. The ambience of the place is a bit industrial, big improvement from the old recycled primary school interior I usually see. The food is also very good as well.

Disappointing food x 4 dishes - Edit
We tried a felafel starter, almond green curry, and polenta. All veganized. The felafel was too salty and flavorless. The polenta had a tiny bit of greasy kale with it, and also not flavorful. The worst was the green curry. A soupy flavorless concoction served with lentil sprouts. Since it didn't come with rice we were told to order the focaccia to eat with it. Unfortunately, the focaccia was not great either. The whole meal was so disappointing. 4 out of 4 dishes couldn't hit the mark. I'm sorry I cannot recommend this place.

The almond curry main course was great, with lots of fresh ingredients and texturally an interesting dish. It was not particularly filling though.
The star was the brownie desert with a aniseed crème. Really impressive desert. The chewy texture is exactly what you want in a brownie.
Worth checking out overall!

Vam provar el menú degustació i els entrants ens van semblar exquisits, així com la col i l'acompanyament, però en la resta dels plats vam sentir que la qualitat queia una mica. El servei va ser molt bo. L'únic altre desavantatge que li trobo és el local: per com està fet, si hi ha molta gent, hi ha molt soroll i és bastant agobiant.

Food is very artistic. The entire place is built around a very sustainable vibe from the art on the walls to the plates. Food is ok. I got the tacos, croquettes and cauliflower with white choc sauce. Not a lot of flavour to the dish so definitely a lighter meal. Might be the dishes I picked though. Would either order more or go for lunch.
