Perfection - Edit
I cannot fault Fat Veggies. Delicious food, nice vibe, and super friendly people who work there.
Read moreI ordered the dish of the day which was a roast eggplant dish that was so flavoursome; one of the nicest things I’ve eaten for a long time. My partner had the ravioli, which was also delicious and packed with veggies. I highly recommend the ginger beer, too! Delicious.

Stylish, fresh, sincere and flavorful - Edit
We went today to Fat Veggies for lunch. All in all a great experience. Decor is stylish but not pretentious, service was quick, efficient, friendly, relaxed but really professional. We got the focaccia with fermented potatoes en tomato, really good twist on focaccia (don't expect classic here) for my taste a little bit high on salt, still a really enjoyable entrance. Then I got the leeks with fennel and Sriracha, this was a really simple but technically really good dish (my favorite) perfect cooking techniques, balanced flavors, beautiful presented! Bravo for the humble leeks!
Read moreThen I got dish of the day which was a baby aubergine with sesam sauce on a bed of rucola en something else I don't remember. Not mijn cup of tea, even though was nice presented and good executed.
Homemade hibiscus kombucha was also really good!
Will I comeback to Fat Veggies! Heel yeah! No doubts!
Pros: Fresh, Homade, Cooking techniques

Delicious, with fab staff! - Edit
What a fabulous find! We went for vegan options and had tacos, ravioli topped with salad and brownie to share, with IPA and ginger ale (made inhouse).

Wow, what an amazing restaurant! - Edit
I was walking around Barcelona on a Sunday evening and searched for a veggie restaurant nearby. Fat Veggies popped up and I decided to give it a try. The menu looked delicious and it was difficult to choose, so I ended up with the 6-course tasting menu for a very reasonable price. I was amazed with the quality of their dishes in terms of taste, texture, and presentation. I have eating in many Michelin starred restaurants and this was no less. If you are in Barcelona, come have a meal here. Even meat eaters are likely to leave very happy.

Hell YEAH, veggies! - Edit
You won’t want to miss Fat Veggies if you’re visiting Barcelona. We got the tasting menu with local wine pairing and they were able to do it completely vegan. Everything was delicious, but the curry was my favourite! I would order that if I ever came back. My only complaint was that the timing of the wine pairing wasn’t matched well to when the courses were served.

Tasty for the most part but lacking protein or portion sizes! - Edit
Recommended for a lunch, not dinner.
Read moreWhat we had was mostly tasty, but the potions are very small! 4 small raviolis for a main, with some asparagus and some salad leaves.
The cabbage was just a charred quarter of a small cabbage with a bit of tomato and a green onion on sauce.
Not sure I would go there again for the price, as we would need a lot to fill us up and it would end up very expensive.

Very nice surprise - Edit
Decided to go here because there were not many vegan restaurants within 10 minutes walking and we couldn't choose between all the other restaurants further away.
Read moreThis was a very nice surprise! Both the Thai curry and the black garlic parmentier were great. The curry could use plain white rice to balance the flavours though. The brownie for dessert was wonderful, but a bit too much for us.
Their own ginger beer and the cocktail they make with it are great.
The friendly staff finished the great experience!
Pros: Awesome food, Awesome drinks, Awesome staff
Cons: Thai curry needed rice to balance

Absolutely fantastic dining experience - Edit
The wife and I went there for dinner, chose the 6 course menu (great value for money btw) with wine pairing. We were absolutely amazed. The combination of flavours, presentation and the whole atmosphere were just spot on. Will definitely come here again when we get a chance.

Overall Wonderful Meal with a Few Near Misses - Edit
Four of us visited Fat Veggies on Sunday night for a special birthday dinner. We ordered most of the appetizers and several of the mains on a smallish but very appealing menu. The croquettes were out of this world and the calabaza hokkaido ravioli was incredibly innovative and delicious. We all loved the black garlic parmentier with wild mushrooms and an egg on top. Really fantastic tastes! Neither the chickpea blinis nor the focaccia was particularly memorable, but we enjoyed them. While we appreciated the sauces that were served with them and the dishes were truly gorgeous, we were somewhat disappointed that both the carrot and the broccoli dish were basically served seared but raw. As several of the carrots were quite large and woody it did not make for a pleasant eating experience for any of us--and the broccoli dish was fine but underwhelming. That said, we had a lovely evening and we appreciate the restaurant and its approach to vegetarian cooking. Also, our waitress was gracious and attentive. We will certainly visit again another time that we are in Barcelona.

Loved the vegan food here. I tried two appetizers ( seasonal croquette and taco ) in addition to one main which is the vegan ravioli with pumpkin! If you are a fan of vegan food without alternative means you would love this one.

Amazing vegetarian Restaurant with seasonal dishes - Edit
They don’t have a big selection (about 5 Starters and 5 Main dishes, plus 3 deserts), but everything is really really delicious and made from local and seasonal products, in-house (even the kombucha!). All dishes also have vegan options.

Very nice place with friendly staff! They make their own Kombucha and Ginger Beer. The ambience of the place is a bit industrial, big improvement from the old recycled primary school interior I usually see. The food is also very good as well.
