Excellent - Edit

one of the best meals of my entire life - Edit
Each dish presented was full of flavor and included tons of novel things that as vegans we never have access to. Vegan seaweed caviar? YES! Vegan French Toast dessert! YES! Spicy cocktail with aquafaba foam! YES! We had about 10 different menu items and was absolutely blown away by all of it.

Tapas is the new gourmet - Edit
Tutto davvero, estremamente buono. Porzioni piccolissime (erano tapas, siamo sinceri)e prezzi altini.

No., Uno dei camerieri estremamente scortese

Lovely place for shared dining - Edit
One of my favorite places. A bit on the expensive side, but the quality of the food makes up for it. Shared dining and a large variety of wines. Friendly informal staff.

Okay okay okay - Edit
Well lol we went here to this fancy shmansky place and lemme tell you, it didn't disappoint (mostly, but I'll get there) the roasted carrots with almond ricotta were a burst of flavour in the best possible way, the caccio e pepe with squash cheese and dry shitaake was amazing, the shitaake were especially delicious, chewy and crunchy and worked well with the dish, and the sauce was subtle and wonderful. The desserts we tried were so good, the popcorn puffs were heaven in my mouth, the corn cream was great and the french toast was awesome. The poached peach was also really nice, light, and refreshing. The only qualm was with the bouillabaisse and stuffed peppers, which were good enough but too salty, and just not That amazing respectively, which SHOULD push this rating to 4, especially given the $$ of this place, but the rest was so good, I gotta look past that tbh lol. Chalk it up to bad ordering 🤷🏻♀️

Loved it - Edit
I finally tried Faubourg Daimant which had been on top of my wish list for some time… I just loved it!! I had never eaten « rillettes » in my life so I cannot compare with the regular version but I found them delicious. The “croquettes” were also delicious, super crispy and the sauce was amazing. The prices didn’t seem expensive to me, it’s Paris, it’s all vegan, the staff was super nice, so for me it was definitely worth the price.

Nice experience - Edit
This is a great restaurant for when you’re feeling fancy or celebrating a special occasion. They really got that high-end experience going, that’s for sure! We came for dinner with a reservation and there was a queue outside. It was really crowded and also loud. The service was also relatively slow but that’s understandable.
Read moreWe ordered two entrees (garlic bread and the rilletes de puy) and two mains (printemps d’artichaut and croquettes cochones). Honestly the flavours are there mostly especially with the artichoke dish but they really can do a little bit bigger portions… like there were only 4 croquettes and a lil pot of sauce and nothing else for one of the mains.
I also had a cocktail called païva and that was the best thing of my experience probably. So fresh and tasty!
Pros: Cocktails, Big menu
Cons: Small portions, Loud

Exceptional dining experience - Edit
Faubourg Daimant is simply outstanding! While it may be on the pricier side, the dining experience is truly exceptional. The dishes are exquisitely crafted, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. The service is impeccable, with a level of efficiency and professionalism that sets a high standard. For me, discovering Faubourg Daimant was one of the highlights of the year. The experience is well worth the price.

A special occasion - Edit
The menu is organised as a broad range of sharing plates and though we shared three (mushroom and tofu croquettes, curry egg, potato), we were still a little peckish afterwards! However, the food was brilliant and creative. The staff were also very attentive and cheerful! I would recommend this place mainly for a special occasion.

The best vegan restaurant in Paris - Edit
This was the best vegan restaurant I visited during my 11-day vacation to Paris! The service was fantastic, with English-speaking staff, and the food was absolutely incredible. They went out of their way to accommodate gluten free too. The organic red wine by the glass was phenomenal, and with no sulfites, it did not give me a headache. I will return here every time I visit Paris, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This is a true gem of Paris!

Best vegan restaurant I have been to - Edit
My husband took me here as part of a birthday trip to Paris. This restaurant was incredible. The service was friendly and attentive. The dishes themselves are small portions, they recommended 2-3 per person so we had 5 between us. Each dish was very different from the others and so flavoursome. We shared a dessert as well. Even my meat eating husband loved the food.

The best vegan restaurant in Paris - Edit
I have had the most delicious dinner at @daimant.co in Paris! What a superb discovery... Set in a 1900 house, not only the food is fantastic and ethical, but the staff is also welcoming and attentive. Unsurprisingly, it was voted one of the best Paris restaurants at Time Out awards 2024.
Read moreHere's what we had:
- Broccoli guacamole (so fresh and delicate!)
- Puy lentil pâté
- Parsnip blanquette with morel mushrooms
- Jerusalem artichoke balls with horseradish mayonnaise (one of my favourite dishes that might)
- Mushroom and smoked tofu croquettes
- Grapefruit and citrus yogurt with puffed rice
- Warm cookie with miso caramel and popcorn cream
They also have a soap bar in the toilets which is quite cool! I've tried orange & cinnamon, and bitter almond.
Pros: The food quality, The friendly and knowledgeable staff, The variety of choices

Very tasty and great atmosphere! - Edit
We really enjoyed our dinner at Faubourg Daimant. It is more on the expensive side but the food is exceptional. You are welcome to share all of the courses - we found that 5-6 desert is good. We also had the best ice tea ever with some magic winter spices. Faubourg Daimant is a very good choice if you want to taste high quality vegan food in Paris.
