Ok aber leider nicht Besonders - Edit
Vegane Asiaten gibt es in Berlin wie Sand am Meer. Dieser hier hat eine Besonderheit: ein veganes Korean BBQ.
Read moreEs sind nur Schade, wenn einem erst, nachdem die Bestellung erstmal aufgenommen wurde, mitgeteilt wird, dass das BBQ schon um 18:00 leider nicht mehr zubereitet werden kann. So gab es dann also doch Gerichte, die man so ähnlich auch schon in verschiedenen anderen Restaurants gegessen hat.
Das Essen war dann ok, aber auch nicht besser als anderswo. Die Enttäuschung hat leider diesen Besuch geprägt und auch die außerordentlich freundliche Bedienung konnte die Stimmung nicht retten.

Zu normalen Uhrzeiten kein BBQ verfügbar - Edit
Ich bin zu 18.15 mit Reservierung in diesem Restaurant gewesen. Ich bin lediglich aufgrund der Empfehlung für das BBQ hingefahren, obwohl es nicht wirklich in meiner Nähe ist.

It was quite tasty, even if I expected a slightly different flavour to be fair. Forgot cutlery with take away meant eating rice with my fingers or whatever I could find, which was… well not my first time. Good price, lots of varied options and plenty of Vietnamese dishes on the menu too.

La nourriture est délicieuse, les plats généreux, le personnel très accueillant et le lieu très charmant. Le seul point désagréable est que la cuisine est dans le restaurant et l’aération n’est pas de bonne qualité, ce qui fait que l’air est saturé de fumée parfois et qu’on sort de la en sentant la friture, ce qui est désagréable. Je conseille de choisir une table loin de la cuisine ou près d’une fenêtre.

Great Bibimbap, Gimbap so so - Edit
Went here on a Wednesday evening and liked the relaxed atmosphere, even though it was pretty crowded. Cosy lights and very friendly service made me feel right at home. We had a pancake (awesome!) and Kimchi Mandu as snacks and Gimbap and Bibimbap as the main course. The Bibimbap (with Tempeh) was wonderful, probably the best I had yet. The Gimbap was not so great, though. It fell apart as soon as taken from the plate and the Nori was very rubbery. Would come back to try again and everything else on the other tables looked great.

The food was alright but I don't think I would come again. I had the all-time classic ramyun and while the broth was good, the veggies felt kind of random. The spicy dishes we had were also very much adapted for white German tastes. If you're looking for Korean spiciness, I don't think you're going to find it here.

Not really authentic Korean food - Edit
I ordered the bibimbap B2 which was really big and was served in a hot pot. Unfortunately the sauce was not what I expected. Bibimbap is traditionally served with the red gojujang sauce which is kinda spicy. This bibimbap was served with an Asian sweet and sour sauce which was not authentic at all.

Great vegan Korean BBQ - Edit
The setting is nice and refined and staff friendly. We had the BBQ for two, which serves generous portion of great food (vegetables, soy "meat", noodles, rice and vegetable sides such as kimchi, marinated cucumber, etc). It was all well prepared and nice to share.

The food was great and the stuff super friendly. Got the spicy cucumber and geoza as starters and the kimchi soup and the bibimbab with soy medaillons as mains. The kimchi soup had rice as a start which made it more filling. Both mains were spicy.
