Cute Place - Edit
My boyfriend and I decided to stop by for Happy Hour. There is no vegan food option on the HH menu, so we opted for the fried buffalo cauliflower. Our drinks were good, small, but standard for San Diego. I am not 100% sure if the candy topping on my drink was vegan, so now I know to ask more questions about the drinks. The food was pretty tasty and a decent-sized portion. The other vegan options were minimal and honestly not that exciting. Even during HH, there were seats left, and the vibe was nice. While I liked Fernside, for me next time I would probably get a drink and then go across the street to have Shawarma Guys for food.

Really nice staff! Truly fab cocktail! Didn’t get to try the boozy slushies, but they look good. The vegan poboy was tasty, but was hard to eat and a bit oily for WFPB. Very with the stop.

At the time of writing, there appear to be two vegan mains, and both of them are solid choices. The vegan burger has a fun color palette (thanks to a beet patty and a charcoal bun), and the veggie po’ boy is delightfully messy (and, accordingly, comes in its own cardboard tray).

Solid vegan whole food based vegan burger is a lovely low key environment. The chef clearly cares about making the vegan options taste good.
