This restaurant was formerly 100% vegan, but they weren't getting enough revenue and they added some typical Brazilian food (with meat). Most of the menu is vegan, and their focus is the vegan food. The food is tasty and very well served. I recommend coming here.

Folha Verde is a vegetarian restaurant in Benfica, but only very few options are not vegan. The staff is very nice and the food is amazing. I’ve tried the graojoada which is a feijoada made with chickpeas, amazing! They also have excellent juices.

This restaurant is almost 100% vegan. They have lunch buffet, risotto, many sandwiches, juices and desserts. You also can find typical Brazilian "salgados" like "enroladinho de salsicha", "empada" etc. The staff is friendly and the price is really fair.

The staff knows what is cooking, they won't let you to eat something is not vegan, besides they let you to try natural juices before to buy them, in Europe is not common to find natural juices in my experience, so great!

Restaurante vegetariano, em família. Atendimento simpático. Paga-se por um prato, com a possibilidade da escolha entre algumas opções. Creio que o menu varie conforme os dias. Quando fui haviam suficiente opções vegan e comi bem. A comida é mesmo bem saborosa. Gostava que houvesse ao menos uma alternativa vegan para as sobremesas também.

As someone already said, it's a very basic restaurant. Yes... yes it is... the first time I had been there I was like "hmmm really? I will eat here?"... and then I tried it... Awesome!
Read moreThe food is super tasty, and the staff is super friendly. They take some tive to serve but it's because they like to have a little chat with every people that go there.
And it's awesome to see the normal public that go there... just give it a try and don't get a bad impression just because it's to simple... it's not made to be fancy!

The Green Leaf - Edit
A very basic diner where the food is already prepared in large heated metal containers ready to slop out to visitors. OK, it's cheap, the food is quite tasty, healthy, fresh (at the start of the day anyway), wholesome and filling but it's nothing that hasn't been done before. There are tofu dishes, rices, vegetables and pulses all ready to go. Places like this give the impression that this is what vegetarians put up with, that they have no imagination and that there is nothing else out there for them to eat. I've seen places like this in Warsaw back in the early 2000s and look at Warsaw now. It's becoming a vegan paradise, with hugely inspiring places opening every month. Whilst I wouldn't go back to the Green Leaf, it's good that it exists and caters for hungry locals and travellers alike.
