Abbiamo preso, oltre a caffè e cappuccino, due cornetti, uno alla marmellata ed uno alla crema, gusti classici che non passano mai di moda. Con l’occasione per una cena il giorno stesso un po’ di biscottini che hanno avuto successo anche tra gli scettici. Tornerò sicuramente per assaggiare il famoso maritozzo!

This place is way out there but the trip was was worth it, really weird to see a vegan bakery out here. Very convenient to the metro, head up the metro stairs and start walking to the right to get there. The staff were very friendly. We came fairly late in the day so we didn’t get a Maritozzi sadly..come early if thats what you’re looking for.

Ein Besuch lohnt sich definitiv. Wir hatten ein Croissant, Kekse und mit Vanille gefüllten Blätterteig, einfach köstlich 🤤 konnten uns gar nicht entscheiden, weil die Auswahl so groß war 😍

Sono andata in questa pasticceria con molte aspettative, dopo aver letto numerose opinioni positive. Ho avuto impressioni contrastanti. Mi ha colpito favorevolmente l'assortimento di paste, lievitati e crostatine. Ho provato dei lievitati che erano buoni, in particolare i cornetti e mi riserverò di provare i famosi maritozzi con la panna. Invece sono rimasta delusa dalla torta millefoglie che ho ordinato per il compleanno di mio padre: la sfoglia era pesante, tanto che ho faticato a digerirla, e aveva un retrogusto poco gradevole.

Best vegan pastries we ate in Rome - Edit
We came here to try vegan maritozzi but unfortunately they were sold out. We tried different pastries instead - a really flaky cone with cold pistachio cream, a pastry with custard an cherry jam, and our favorite - a pastry with something like cream cheese filling with raisins.

If you want to try vegan maritozzi I would recommend arriving early or calling them to ask to save you some.
The staff member there (maybe he's the owner?) was really nice, and he explained and helped us even though he didn't know English.

Volevo provare questi benedetti maritozzi alla panna da tempo ormai è oggi finalmente ci sono riuscita. Due parole sullr dimensioni : È ENORME!! Altre due parole sul gusto :È SPETTACOLARE! L'impasto è soffice e leggero e, devo dire che non si risparmia sulla quantità di panna.. Bisogna provarli per credere. Ne vale la pena. Vorrei poter recensire il resto, ma dopo il maritozzo non avevo spazio per altro. Tornerò!!

Questa pasticceria è fantastica, tutto fresco ogni giorno. Hanno tutto quello che si può desiderare, dai cornetti, ventagli, ciambelle, bombe, danesi, pastarelle di ogni tipo e forma, panettoni, babà, pasticcini da te’ e molto di più. Noi che siamo in Australia sogniamo una pasticceria così. Sono gentili amichevoli e i prezzi sono fantastici. Supportano Sea Shephard.

Dolci deliziosi e prezzi contenuti; durante la mia permanenza a Roma, dopo aver provato i loro dolci, ho modificato i miei piani di visita della città (anticipando la sveglia e andando dopo a visitare i musei) per poter fare colazione da loro (purtroppo il mio albergo si trovava a 20 minuti di metro). Mi sono anche portata a casa delle paste giganti per me e da regalare ai miei amici, naturalmente tutti sono rimasti entusiasti. Hanno anche un servizio di spedizione di colombe e panettoni. Un motivo in più per ritornare a visitare Roma.

Ive been vegan for like 2 yearsish and have yet to have a great croissant or pastry. This place is UNREAL! Its so good. Im on a backpacking trip through Europe and this was easily the best pastry shop so far.

If you are a glutton like me, you can't miss this bakery paradise. They offer all traditional Roman pastries, but turned vegan. Everything is so delicious that you will need to get back here more than once. Don't miss it when in Rome.

This pastry shop is incredible! It's situated a bit outside of the city center, but it's worth the short trek! It's hard to believe that every pastry you see is vegan. My friend and I shared a few things for breakfast which were incredible. We also got some cookies to take home, and the owner who helped us with our selection was so helpful and friendly! He treated us warmly and packaged our cookies with such care. I wish I could come here for treats all the time! In terms of finding traditional Italian vegan foods in Rome, this was the highlight of our trip!

Wonderful Vegan Bakery - Edit
Every time I am near Rome, I make a special trip to this bakery. It has incredible vegan cannolis and other gorgeous, vegan treats. My husband and friends were surprised that all the goodies were vegan. This being said, there are a few non-vegan things in the shop and the owners, two brothers, are not vegan themselves, but they are happy to help as best they can. Overall, it's well worth the journey to this part of Rome (the area itself isn't so nice).

Wonderful Spot for Vegan Pastries, etc - Edit
One of those places to go back to whenever you're in Rome. It's not in the centre of the city but it gives you a good chance to get out of the hectic centre and see a more residential area. Just take the Metro to the Pietralata stop and it's a short walk from there-- very simple!
Read moreThey had so much to choose from; you could go back day after day and try something different, each time. We tried one chocolate-filled and one coffee-filled canoli. Also, a croissant and fruit pastry. Everything was so good and fresh!
Make sure to support them when you're in Rome; you'll be glad you did. It's near an outdoor market (along Via Giovanni Michelotti), too, so you can buy whatever you need in this area.
