This place is so special. We stayed in the larger cabin/house and had a magical time. The second herd lives right outside and you can visit them any time during your stay. The younger herd, which is outside the owner's home and where tours and events is a very short walk. This was the best sanctuary tour I've had the pleasure of joining. Meagan is passionate about the goats in her care and the people that visit. She gives such individual care and attention to everyone throughout. We went on the shorter of the two hikes with the goats offered. We all forage for acorns together with stitches and snuggles along the way. Such a fun experience.
Read moreThe cabin was larger than necessary, but fantastic for our girls weekend (3 adults). With three queen bedrooms plus a loft with two single beds and two full bathrooms, it could work for an extended family or 2 or more families depending. There's also a game room in the basement with ping pong in one space and lots of other games on the other side. Full and well equipped kitchen and a hot tub outside.
