Nice but nothing special - Edit
Small place with friendly staff who understand vegan. Some vegan options but not marked in the menu. Falafel with Hummus was nice. But nothing special here. Basic dishes with affordable prices.

Cons: vegan not marked in the menu (but you can ask) , prices cheap for a touristic area

Calm Nook, Great Cook - Edit
Great place to chill out and look at the Ganga. The food is really tasty and quite cheap. Best fries in India! I recommend all the burgers. Actually I recommend the whole menu, it's all great! We went there 4 times in a few days. The staff are attentive and lovely.

It's a family run place, the staff is rally nice, they have books, cards, chess and the view is geast! The food is really good, lots of options, you can even ask them to make you a dish you like. Recommended!

Must visit place & very vegan friendly - Edit
The free spirit cafe is a must. I stayed in Rishikesh for 3 weeks and this was by far the best restaurant that i visited whilst I was there. The food is delicious and the portions are massive for what you pay for. I would go as far to say the Veg Jaal Frezy was the best curry I tasted in India. On top of this they cater for Vegans as well. Its a must in my opinion.

aaamazing - Edit
I’ve been to free spirit cafe 3 days in a row and will come back again:)
Read moreThe food is cheap and portions are massive so will fill your hungry tummies up.
Curries are simply the best and you can’t go wrong with 100rs veg burger.
The guys who run it are lovely and they listen to you. Ask for no straw and you drink will come without it. Not like other places where you get a head shake and end up with plastic waste you didn’t want🙉🙈🙊
The atmosphere is very chilled and the views are amazing. Can’t wait to go back for more food 🌱🌱🌱
Pros: lovely owners, cheap and filling, beautiful views
Cons: nothing. everything is fab 👍🏻
