I visited in the summer and tried the Iron Berry Smoothie, Almond Chocolate Banana Waffles, PB No J Bowl, and Breakfast Wrap, but I completely forgot to take any pictures because I was focused on the food. I still remember the waffles, which I hope to go back and eat again!

I loved this restaurant! They have a variety of vegan options - both light and healthy, and more on the comfort food side. I ordered the quesadillas and spearmint tea. The quesadillas were delicious. They were light and yummy. The quesadillas have cashew cheese so beware for any nut allergies. The staff member who took my order was nice. I definitely want to visit again.

Excellent salads, lame banana baked goods - Edit
We tried the kale salad and the southwestern salad and both were excellent and the smaller size was fine for lunch. Banana bread and banana chocolate chip muffins were both disappointing, expensive, bland heavy baked goods.

The waffles here are so good! We also had the breakfast wrap and enjoyed it. I saw other reviews mentioning the price, and while it was on the expensive side it’s about what I would expect in DC for the quality of food.

Loved the sound of the menu — lots of options and all vegan. Ordered a quesadilla and a banana chocolate chip muffin. Food was fine, but not fantastic. Wouldn’t order it again, but would definitely go back to try other things — might have just been a bad order.

Loved the vibe at this vegan cafe. Perfect for a quick breakfast. Somewhat limited seating indoors, but was able to snag a couple bar stools.

We had a lovely breakfast at Fruitive! We ordered 2 waffles (the berry one and the almond banana one). The waffles were great, however they were a bit on the expensive side ($15-16 for one waffle). Nevertheless, they were great!

Staying in a hotel and ordered broccoli cheese soup, gluten-free vegan waffles , a salad and drink…. All delicious! The broccoli cheese soup was the best I’ve ever had and it’s a treat to be able to have waffles. Everything tasted fresh and healthy- THANK YOU!
