Super tasty 😋

We tried two dishes of Slavic cuisine — solyanka (soup) and chicken Kiev with mashed potato, and for dessert carrot cake. I like it

Cheap and average

Just an average falafel wrap. For a quick bite only.

Artplay

I come here since Mox was closed. The dishes are okay, but made without some enthusiasm. Staff was grumpy, no one speaks english.

Оч клевое аутентичное место

Одно из лучших вег мест города, после Волны! Интерьер ребята делали своими руками. Находится в бывшем бомбоубежище.

Pros:

Overrated, unreliable and unfriendly.

Every time I've been there something went wrong.

Sometimes they were closed even though it was well before closing time. Sometimes they would run out of soy-based mock meat and replace it with falafel without telling you.
Sometimes they'll get every single ingredient in your smoothie wrong and serve it warm. The staff is indifferent and oftentimes clueless about the contents of their own food that they serve.

This place doesn't feel like an honest vegan joint. Rather, it's a hipster den that HAPPENS to serve vegan food because it's a trendy thing.

Pros: curious multi-layered design and decoration

Cons: they close whenever they feel like it, they swap ingredients without telling you, condescending and rude staff

Delish, but the staff's a bit condescending

Dropped in on a busy afternoon to grab something for a quick lunch.
The place's located in a real bunker, so the interior is quite unusual and literally underground.
I ordered a tofu seaweed wrap, however, when I asked if it could have been done without pickles and tomatoes, the staff member looked down upon me saying 'really? it's not gonna be as delicious then'. This felt kinda bad :c
Anyway, they made it just the way I asked and it was pretty delicious and made rather quickly.

Pros: Pricing, Speed, Delicious

Cons: Unfriendly staff, Noisy, Not really cosy

One more hummus-avocado sandwich please

I tried this amazing sandwich and it was really cool and healthy. There are only hummus, avocado, vegetables. I don’t know what I can say about it, just try it.

Pros: Creative atmosphere , Amazing food , Low prices

Cons: A lot of people

Do not recommend!

This is the second worst vegan place in Moscow, right after Aviapark's Holy Vegan. They have rude service (even when it is mostly self service and you have to really try hard to leave a bad impression). They also have disgusting food that made us sick. We had hummus (I don't know how you can mess up hummus that bad). Unbelievably dirty too. The table were sticky (lord knows when they were last cleaned) and the whole place was dusty (grungy in a completely wrong way). I would never come back here unless improvements are made. There are much better competitors!

Pros: Interesting location

Cons: Not tasty, Dirty, Unpleasant service

everything sounda nicer than it is

The dishes aren't that tasty. It's like a first year vegan student's cuisine. Its self service, which is fine, but they arent very friendly.

Pros: cheap

Bananas & veges

It was really hard to find it at first but it's worth it considering the few vegan options in such a big city. I've been there quite a few times for the cakes and beware: they love bananas and they put it on everything (I mean it, from cinnamon rolls to oreo milkshake). The communication is quite limited, but they put effort. Place is overcrowded and would consider just going there to take away. I also feel the other customers were a bit rude and never left the tables even though ppl needed a place to seat and they had finished their meals but were just chatting/charging phones. Tofu nori wrap was great though!

Pros: Price, Nut brownie, Staff able to speak english

Cons: Overuse of bananas, Too hidden, Not many places to sit

hipster spot

I always drop in there when I am around on artplay to grab a falafel roll which is really nice. I think the vegan/vegetarian food prices are the lowest here in Moscow. Be ware there's always a hipster crowd there ;)

nice atmosphere

I ordered a felafel but it was only average - the vegetables tasted a bit old and it was nothing special. However, the vegan cake I had was nice and the place seemed really cool. Staff were not that friendly.

Pros: all vegan, alternative and cool, English spoken

Cons: vegetables tasted old

What a good surprise !

We didn't expect to find this vegan restaurant and that was really nice. We took a lunch combo and that was enough food. We also tried few differents dessert as the muffins or the nutsy cake. Everything was tasty and really cheap ! All meals are vegan, they offer only one tea with honey.
You can eat inside (small, but cute) or on the beautiful outside terrace.
Staff are friendly and helpfull.

Pros: Yammy food, Cheap price, Staff

Lovely yet not much space

I really like that place. They have an open kitchen so you can look as your food is being cooked. Prices are not too high and even though they do not seem to keep within same portion size, it's more likely that you will have bigger portion than smaller.

For example, once they sold a person that was in front of me in a queue really huge piece of cheesecake for regular price because it was the last one and it was not big enough to divide it in two.

So staff are really nice and friendly people and I don't suppose this place would displease you.

However, sometimes there can be a lot of customers, and as this is rather small caffe, you might not find where to seat or just wait too long in queue.

Also I don't know why it is set as vegetarian, I used to know it as fully vegan.

Pros: Friendly staff, tasty food, extraordintary interiour

Cons: Rather small

The only vegan place in Moscow

I've been to this place 3 times, and I love it! The atmosphere is very beautiful, it's a place more suitable for young people. The cafe itself is very small. There is an open kitchen, and several tables. During the summer time, you can seat outside. But when it's too cold, the cafe is usually overcrowded. They have a combo lunch, about 350 rubles for soup, salad and main dish. The prices are very reasonable. The food is simple, but good. Their falafel is yummy!
The location is not convenient for me, it's quite far from the metro station, but the Artplay area is nice and interesting to explore.

Pros: Prices, Atmosphere, Conseption

Cons: Not close to the metro

My favorite falafel place

I always come here for their amazing falafel, I just can't get enough of it. If you want to stuff yourself with amazing food, this is the place. It's pretty small so it's not suitable for big companies (think more than 4-5 people). And sometimes they get swamped with customers and you have to wait for like 20 minutes for your food, but it's totally worth it. Also there's most likely some exhibition going nearby, so you can nourish not only you body, but your mind and soul as well :)

Pros: low prices, great food, cool interior

Cons: NON! It's perfect :)

Good food from a bunch of dreamers

This place is right in the middle of Artplay, very easy to find, in front of the blue building and that bizarre thing on top that looks like an iron.
As a Berliner, this place reminded me a lot to our food collectives, run by a bunch of people with a good heart that all what they want to do is to save the planet. The place is just super friendly, down to earth, and they'll do all efforts to explain you the menu if you're new there. Prices are absolutely fair, the location and the architecture of the place makes it already worth a visit.

Might not be open

We came here looking for this cafe only to find it closed (during opening hours). Someone helpfully explained that the owners had gone out to dinner so it wasn't open. Luckily we were able to find a falafel stall and got some vegan falafel instead. So be warned and don't go here really hungry and without a plan B! It might not be open.

Luckily also the art district is nice and interesting to explore so it wasn't a total waste of time.

Pros: inside a cool art district

Cons: might not be open during opening hours

Really cool.

We ended up here quite late one night after wandering around trying to find another vegan place, which I don't think exists anymore. Upon entering, we were greeted by the really friendly staff, and chatted to them for a while. As we got there so late, there was no falafel left, so we settled for a few different soups and some kind of rice. There was also a Chinese movie showing on a projector while we were there, which was really interesting. I wish I went back here another day to try the falafels but unfortunately ran out of time!

Pros: They show movies, Really nice staff, Food was good and cheap
