Read moreUnless the lady working got it wrong, literally nothing here is vegan except for plain tofu and some beans. They do have some vegan coffee (soy latte etc) just wanted to let anyone else know bc I got really excited and then couldn’t eat anything😒 the little packs have dashi and butter inside

As other people said the staff were good at explaining what was not suitable when I showed them my vegan card.

Go into the market by Cross Pia 4 opposite the Hakomachi building and it is just on the right.
Pros: Soy drinks are good. , Wide range of flavours. , Helpful staff.
Cons: Portions of lunch menu were small for the price.b

Tasty option, but avoid the fish sauce - Edit
They have tasty tofu and veggie lunch sets available to go, but I was warned the dipping sauce includes fish sauce (bonito and mackerel). Can easily substitute your own soy sauce or other condiments. The staff was very kind to warn me of the fish sauce included. Cheap and tasty lunch (minus the fish sauce).

Good place for lunch - Edit
When we showed our vegan card they pointed out some vegetable only lunch sets (vegan card mentions broth so reasonably sure no bonito). Also had soy milk soft serve with gold leaf (did not confirm if it had dairy, but it is a soy milk shop). Also had fried tofu skin on a stick. Options for soy latte, soy yoghurt and soy smoothies were on wall. Staff friendly and served us on a tiny bench when we said we would eat in.
