Overall a very nice place with good food. Would totally recommend if you like Mexican food. The staff was nice and the ambience was cozy and welcoming.
Read moreHowever, I feel it is a little overpriced. The nachos were very scarce and so were the Chile ancho tacos and some of the desserts (for their price).
They have many cocktail and traditional drinks which were good.
However, I would consider other vegan Mexican places in bcn.

Some of the best vegan Mexican food in Barcelona - Edit
We went here three years ago and had a great experience. We returned a few weeks ago and were not disappointed. Everything on the menu is great, but the Birria tacos are really special. They also have excellent margaritas and cocktails. A must visit every time we are in Barcelona.

Read moreL'únic problema com a estudiant puc dir que és bastant car haha però les porcions están bé. És a dir, si t'ho pots permetre és un 10 per la bona qualitat i el tracte dels treballadors però jo que sóc una garrepa puntuo un 4 (perquè no em deixa posar 4'6 que és el que posaria lol).
També ens van convidar a un postre! Moltes gràcies al cuiner, ens va millorar moltíssim el dia 😊 #Veganuary

We ordered delivery and tried the nachos, guacamole, mushroom burrito, and "pastor" burrito. We enjoyed everything, and I especially liked the "pastor" burrito.

Mexican restaurant serving tacos and burritos. We ordered the combo menu for two, which includes 2 starters (you can choose, we opted for guacamole with tortilla chips and nachos), a mushroom burrito and a “pastor” burrito. It was all very good. They did not have desserts available for delivery.

The burritos were ok, I didn't like the fake meat in the yaco pibil but my bf did, so it's just a matter of taste. The one with pineapple is a bit daring, I didn't dislike it but it wasn't great neither.
Big portions and average prices, but you get charged more if you sit outside.
Friendly staff and the location is pretty.
I can only rate full stars, the correct rating would be 3.5.

So glad we found this place. First of all the owner was lovely, super nice. We got local beers and the nachos for an appetizer, so good. We added lentils and jack fruit. We split the tacos and burrito Al pastor both were so good and unique. She brought us different salsas and loved them both. We also got the tres leches for dessert and it was delicious. On our way out we got an on the house shot of mezcal and I don’t do shots since college but it was smooth and super nice of her to offer. Great place.

We booked for a Tuesday evening (by chance, Taco Tuesday when tacos are €2.50 a go) and we had the most delicious dinner!
Read moreStarting with the generous portion of tacos with lentil chilli, and then on to the tacos - 2 each of the carrot tinga, mushroom, tofish and one with soya (can’t remember the name). We also had a great bottle of wine for €13.50 and rounded off with a tres leches cake - so good!
Service was incredibly friendly and while the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, just before 8:30pm, it had filled up and was buzzing by 8:45pm!
Recommend that you book ahead!!!

We visited Gallo Santo twice during our week in Barcelona. I get excited when there's a well-reviewed Mexican place in a new city, and Gallo Santo surpassed my expectations. The food was fresh, the menu was interesting, and the atmosphere was contemporary without being overly hip. Great combo.

Tasty vegan place. The portions are a bit small for the prices, the service is not great and the place is really small.

The kitchen is open so you can look at yor food being prepared.
I had particular issue with the waitress who insisted she brought smt that she never did but we still got charged for it. Also, service is a bit slow and it is a small place.
