Vegan options include all fruit variants and 2 other (spot/nuta and chocolate). Staff was also very helpfull and spoke english.

Recommended by a local as the best gelato in Taormina. Can confirm - delicious. I had hazelnut and dark chocolate, cone was also vegan. Their fruit flavours were also vegan. Confirmed they don’t use gelatine to set the gelato, they told me what they use to thicken but can’t remember, i think carob. It was definitely plant based. Really good. I will be back. And multiple staff could identify vegan options.

Amazing chocolate gelato - Edit
We went back multiple days in a row for the vegan Cioccolato di Modica flavor, it is so good. They also offer a soy milk hazelnut gelato, plus a variety of fruit sorbettos that are vegan as well. The server was nice and knowledgeable about the vegan options.

Just ask for the vegan options lady is very helpful. All fruit options are vegan plus chocolate and the hazelnut soya one. Very yummy.

The dark chocolate from Modica and nocciola is a great combo! The staff know the vegan flavours and the ingredients for cones are clearly stated so you know for allergens.

Delicious hazelnut and dark chocolate gelato flavours. Also the best pistachio and almond granitas I’d had during the trip! They had at least 15 sorbet flavours. We came here 3 times ☺️

tra le opzioni vegane ci sono quasi tutti i gusti alla frutta, cioccolato e nocciola, più il cono🍦ci sono anche le granite ma la granita di per sé è già vegana, peccato non abbiano brioche. si trova sul Corso Umberto di Taormina, proprio all'entrata dell'arco di Porta Messina, quindi è anche in perfetta posizione.

Creamy vegan gelato in the heart of Taormina. They don't just have sorbet flavours, they have a chocolate one and a hazelnut one and together they are amazing! Very cheap too (from a Londoner's perspective)

They offer ice cream based in soy milk. I tried the hazelnut ice cream and the dark chocolate one. Both were really yummy!

I had the hazelnut vegan gelato and it was OK. I think I will try another flavor next time. Between the two gelato places listed on HC this one actually marked the vegan options.

So great to find a gelato place that offers actual vegan gelato rather than sorbet, I tried the hazelnut which was delicious but there were lots of options available. A great place for non-vegans too, we ended up back here a few times!

I have already gone there twice to get my two favorite flavors (hazelnut and passion fruit) which are both really delicious. I really love that they also have soy based ice cream and not only sorbets. The vegan flavors are clearly marked as milk free but the staff is happy to assist as well.
