Hard choice - Edit
What's the best Vegan sandwich in Seattle? It's gotta be either the GLC Reuben or the French Dip. Scratch vegan deli meats win either way.

Amazing Sandwiches - Edit
Scrumptious sandwiches! We stopped here on a Friday night on our way to pick someone up at SeaTac after asking for suggestions for a vegan place near I-5.
Read moreI always crave a good vegan sandwich, because they are a rare find.
Husband (plant-based at home, meat-eater when out) and I (plant based & ethical vegan) had the cheesesteak and BLT sandwiches and split them with a side of potato salad. Everything was phenomenal. It was impossible for either of us to pick a favorite of the two. The food wasn't greasy, which is a nice change since restaurant food is almost always drenched & dripping with oil. I love that they make their food from scratch & would love to know how they make their marinades for the seitan and tempeh.
My husband raved about the food to several meat-eating friends and told them they would never know it was vegan.
Despite our one cocktail & mocktail being in tiny glasses & not worth the price (husband questioned if his vodka soda had any vodka at all in it), I will want to return here every chance I get for the food.
Cute place & fun vibe and I hope they have many, many years of vegan success ahead of them.
I wish they existed closer to where I live, I'd be a regular for their sandwiches.
***UPDATE 5/4/2026. We were excited to return here again after almost 1 1/2 years. Since my last visit I have gone mostly SOS-free (salt, oil & sugar). We ordered the cheesesteak sandwiches. SO much salt!! The first few bites were great, then the salt was all I could taste & it started affecting me. I couldn't finish. Afterwards my heart rate shot way up & my mouth went numb! The sandwiches I raved about before had to of been less salty because even back then, if they were THIS salty, I'm sure we'd of noticed. Also, I took pictures back then & shrinkflation has hit this place. I had to open the sandwich to see if they put any cheese sauce on & there was a thin layer of seitan & just a few strips of onion & peppers. $18.25 for a sandwich that was mostly bun. The bun is tasty though. They don't need to use so much salt, geez!! Still like it's a fully vegan place but we've scratched this place off our list.

Good vibe and sandwiches - Edit
I liked the punk-rock vibe (which didn't overwhelm in the mid-afternoon) and the extensive all-vegan menu. The roast-beef and horseradish sandwich was delicious, and clearly prepared with intentionality. Lots of non-alcoholic drink alternatives on the menu too. Note: Sandwiches are in the $18 range.

Fun atmosphere and great sandwiches - Edit
I have visited about three times now, and the staff are always really friendly, and I enjoy the funk atmosphere and music.
Read moreThe sandwiches are great and I love that they make the seitan themselves in house, or use soy curls rather than ultra-processed alternatives.
I chose the rueben sandwich which was delicious! And they also have a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails, my friend and I both chose the non-alcoholic mimosa and it was so good.
I have rated a 4 as the prices are a bit too high, my husband ordered 3 small street tacos and they cost 17dollars.
Pros: Atmosphere, Staff, Drinks
Cons: Pricing

Vegan Horseradish & Roast Beef - Edit
There are many things I did not like as a non-vegan (decades ago) but enjoy the vegan versions of. Case in point, GLC’s Roast Beef & Horseradish sandwich. That’s right, “sandwich”. It’s not a sammy. It’s not a sando. It’s a sandwich. Sand. Wich. Getting off topic there, but go support GLC. Great food and great staff and great music.

Great vegan bar - Edit
A fun spot to go with friends. Food was very good, sandwiches were the big draw. The sandwich I ordered was loaded up, not skimpy with their toppings. Lots of drinks options since it is a bar. A very different atmosphere and aesthetic compared to the other local vegan bar I've been to, I like that there's a variety in town. Has a punk rock bar vibe.

Fantastic "meaty" sandwiches - Edit
I’ve had the cold cut sandwich, french dip, cauliflower buffalo wings, and chocolate cake here and all were such a treat. I was shocked by how the imitation salami and roast beef tasted just like the real thing to me. The meats are incredibly flavorful and I love that they're made in house. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Solid brunch selection - Edit
It’s sort of out of the way to get to this place but it’s definitely worth the trek. Although it’s situated in Georgetown, the food and ambience makes up for it! Will surely revisit sometime when I’m in the area again. Great if you’re getting business done at Georgetown, maybe stop by the nearby USPS.

Awesome lunch - Edit
I was a little unsure of the location but once inside, it's extremely nice and a place I wish was in my neighborhood. The horseradish and roast beef is probably the best sandwich I've had in a year and the bacon chicken wrap wasn't quite as good but till very tasty. Good tap list as well.

Long live GLC / tipping dark pattern - Edit
In a world crowded with places selling cut-and-paste Beyond/Impossible burgers, these people are doing something unique and doing an amazing job.

Lovely vibes and good food - Edit
I miss the convenient location of the owner’s previous venture - The Highline - in Capitol Hill, but this place is great too! A punk-themed bar sort of out in the Seattle boonies, it has a nice pub food menu and a great drink menu. The veganized White Russian with soymilk is soooo good!
Read moreI generally like everything I get here! Most recently I got the chicken bacon wrap and honestly it was the best thing I’ve ordered yet, highly recommended! I really appreciate that all the cheese and meat is made in-house, so it’s not like you’re ordering a Beyond Burger with some Violife cheese which you could have made at home. Prices are…expected for a Seattle vegan joint, but I am happy to eat somewhere with good vibes and thoughtfully-made food.
Pros: Good menu options, Bar theme, N/A and alcoholic options everywhere
Cons: Expensive, like other Seattle vegan spots

Super delicious brunch - Edit
Great coffee to start with. Thx for Combo plate recommendation. Tofu scramble flavor was very good. Biscuit were not dry and dense. So far best vegan biscuit and gravy for me. Egg Benedict assembly is insta worthy. Thier Hot sauce with potatoes kicks the brunch a notch up in flavors. Have to visit back for Rueben and dinner and drinks.
