Great food for all diets - Edit
This was a great restaurant for my husband and I, myself being vegan and him being on a low sodium diet. There were loads of options for us both. We loved that you could ask for low sodium, no oil and no sugar! I wish more restaurants were like this. The food was awesome! We will definitely be back again.

Great Meal! - Edit
We got take out for the first time from Golden House tonight. We ordered Mongolian Tofu and Buddha’s Delight, both made vegan and cooked low sodium and low oil. The Buddha’s Delight was very good. The Mongolian Tofu was excellent!! They do not charge for brown rice. We’ll definitely be back!!

Great Chinese food - Edit
This place is kind of a hole in the wall joint in a strip mall. We asked which of the “vegetarian meats” were vegan and he said that they just found out the shrimp and chicken have dairy in them- so the only vegan meat is the beef (and tofu). We tried the Kung Pao beef which was loaded with veggies and had a good amount of heat (still spicy). Also tried the veggie fried rice without egg which was great. They don’t use a lot of oil and no msg so it didn’t taste too heavy. We also tried the veggie beef and broccoli which was delicious. The sauce was great and flavorful. Overall- very good! Would come back.

East Side Gem - Edit
I just discovered this gem on the east side of town - they have TONS of vegan options! The Mongolian vegetables are super flavorful, and I look forward to trying some of their faux meat options. They also have plenty of gluten free options, and they will prepare your meal without oil, if requested. They also offer brown rice with no upcharge.

Cons: Small dining room, not 100% vegan
