Big disappointment
After reading lots of great reviews I decided to take my kids to this restaurant, where I once had a great meal thirty years ago. It was a big disappointment. First of all the waitress could not have been less enthusiastic and slow. Than the people in the kitchen, which is open, did not seem to move much. They also barely laughed or talked. We waited over one and a half hour, and almost fainted with hunger. When the meals came they turned out to be TINY. Not worth the money at all, this restaurant, but worse: it will ruin your evening.
Pros: Food tastes ok, Nice pet in the restaurant
Cons: bad service, slow service, very little food
Golden Temple
Slechte vegetarische restaurant ooit. Veel ophef over dit al 20jaar bestaande restaurant. Maar beiden echt zelden zo smakeloos gegeten. Echt heel jammer.
Pros: Non, Non, Non
Cons: Smakeloos , Prijs te hoog, Heel kleine porties
INDIAN MISERY RESTAURANT
Indian Miseria Restaurant. A restaurant that claims to represent India, with its values of peace and harmony, and then has its workers in arbitrary conditions, without signing any type of contract, an inefficient salary for the work that is done there, and on top of that with threatening bad words on the part of one of the owners when claiming that he makes mention of values that his restaurant lacks with very bad manners. No meat is eaten as a result of not killing animals, but in return values are killed and humiliated by being vilely prostituted by these people. And then, in my case, I have seen the cook and other people spread food on the ground and instead of throwing it away, using it in the food, 100% true, and on many occasions, also putting stickers of food suitable for use on food of last week expired and it smelled awful. Is it really worth a restaurant that in its day was the best in Amsterdam and now in the hands of people without values, without knowledge, people who just want to make money regardless of anything at the cost of disgusting attitudes? If you are looking for a place to eat well, unless you like food on the floor with bleach and after things, give money to people without humanity, it is not your place. If what you are looking for is degradation, exploitation something very common today, yes. I ask anyone who reads this related to the Dutch labor jurisdiction to come and take a look because this restaurant is very sad ...
Pros: The music but isn't of them if no from India, The ground vegetables, The coffe with fat in the cup
Cons: Stickers above the expired food., The food of the ground be served in the plates, The oil for pizzas of the ground used for cook!

Expensive, tasteless, stingy - Edit
I don't understand the positive reviews. The portions were miniscule and flavourless. Like another reviewer I had the "joke" kebab - a couple of semi raw pieces of broccoli and 2 pieces of tofu, barely a mouthful and completely bland. The tiny serving of pakora was soft, soggy and
