You HAVE to go! Authentic vegan mexican - Edit
Beware that Apple Maps puts this restaurant in another location. It is across the street from the Walmart closest to Market 28 (on Avendid Cobá). Tacos are $20 pesos and amazing. I have been looking for this place for 4 weeks and I will eat here everyday. Welcoming, lovely place and a little vegan market to boot. Can not rave enough about how good it is.

What a great place. Nice to sit, just calm and friendly. The staff is extremely helpfull and nice. The tacos were the best. The very very best. I want this place and these people to be our neighbours.

Very affordable delicious tacos - Edit
First vegan tacos in Mexico and they were delicious, So affordable and so tasty! I was lucky enough to have been staying only a few minutes from gopals so visited again to try a vegan burger. The burger was good however nothing compared to the tacos, so would really recommend them especially the chorizo ones.

Yo it’s been two weeks since I stumbled upon this place and bursted my stomach with 8 tacos, and I am still thinking about this place. Gopals equals good food and I was never happy with other tacos afterwards (until El Bajon Vegan Tacos in Tulum 🙊) #Veganuary

Life changing experience for $6 - Edit
Yesterday I ordered the “Menu 4 Tiempo” and man was I blown away. It came with salad, soup, sauce, limes, and 3 tortillas at first, then once I finished that, they brought out the entree which was rice and and zucchini and corn and a cut up vegan hotdog with cabbage. And finally, they brought out a little vegan cookie🥹 it also came with the best limeade I’ve ever had!!! Everything was flavored and seasoned soooo well, I could eat that everyday!!! That fact that I got all of that for $6 (120 pesos) I will never understand🫠🤯 THANK YOU GOPALSSSS!! I WILL BE BACK!!

If you like fake meats then this is THE place to go! Had the best tacos I had in all of Mexico! The burger was fine but I would really advise for the tacos!!! Pretty much all of them!

I wanted to eat tasty vegan Mexican food and found this restaurant in Happy cow. I ordered 3 different vegan tacos which are Barbecue, Pastor and Arrachera. It was sooooo good and very reasonably priced.

As a Mexican-American, I absolutely love tacos and grew up eating meat tacos. These tacos were the best tacos I’ve ever had even was I was a meat-eater. My favorites were the arracheras.

I am not quite sure what everything was but it was complete.
A salad, a watermelon drink, a soup, a plate with rice, some patties, and something with chopped up sausage in it, a basket with two things in then that might have been soya logs, and a small bowl of chopped up mango.
It filled me up and for the price it was good.
My Spanish is not good enough to engage the server to find out what some of the items were. They were all vegan and that was good enough for me.
The toilet is clean.
There is some Indian vibe here.
I went back and had some of the tacos. They were good 20$MX each.

Read moreI had 3 tacos, each taco was 20 pesos. I had the arrachera taco, which was reminiscent of (meat) hotdogs. It was salty and also the color was pinkish. It was good just not the flavor I was expecting. I had the pastor styled taco. This was sweet(ish). I really liked this one. Lastly I had the rajas and papas (peppers and potatoes) taco. This was tasty and I enjoyed this. I also had the fresh juice of the day, grosella (red currant). I don’t think I’ve ever had this fruit before, I really liked it the water.

I went to a couple different vegan places whilst visiting Cancun. This one was both the tastiest and the cheapest and the staff are friendly. Definitely would recommend!

And affordable. Cute spot, well located close to R1 and R2 bus to and from the tourist hellzones. Quick service and the place has a little pseudo spiritual Indian thing going on, selling incense and soap and other stuff. I would ideally give is 4.5 stars as I found some of the tacos and little dry and saw-dusty. But! I was joined during my meal by a little lizard (photo attached) that made up for the dry tacos. This lizard was great accompaniment, an excellent listener and didn’t take up too much space. I recommend Gopals!

Everything was perfect! On my first visit I went for the daily menu which included 4 dishes, bread & fruit water - which all tasted amazing! Unfortunately it was a bit too much, so I went for some tacos the next day, which were also truly amazing. I loved the chorizo ones😄
