Very cute vegan store and café - Edit
The kind of place we vegans love: everything's is vegan, we don't have to check the ingredients! I had a coffee and a delicious pastel de nata. They sell shoes, clothes, and many types of cheese! Amont other things. I had a bite before i took the picture, couldn't wait ^^. It's important to support this kind of shop.

A escolha dos produtos também apresentava variações vegan de produtos tipicamente portugueses como p. Ex. a alheira e farinheira, que não conhecia. Neste caso comprei a alheira era de cogumelos e achei extremamente saborosa.

I didnt know, but apart from the small cafe and grocery shop, they also sell vegan cosmetics and clothes. I had the bola de berlim (highly recommend if you want to try typical deserts, its not easy to find vegan!!) And leek-tofu empabada (delicious, so creamy and flavourful 😍), and all for 3,5€!! Super recommend this very central cheap place for a quick snack on the go

Lovely little cafe with eco shop and grocery store. We ate outside on the pavement - empanadas with salad, one tofu and one spinach. Delicious fresh and healthy food, just what we wanted. Followed by custard tarts which were exquisite. Bought a fabulous pair of hemp trainers from NAE too - great assortment of ethical items. Highly highly recommended, lovely, helpful staff too.

I adored this store/cafe! After experiencing my first vegan pastel de nata I couldn’t wait to find other (4 mins later and I come across Green Beans) the guy at the cafe was fantastic and very welcoming. The pastel de nata was incredible, I’m going to be making the hike up the hill each day for the rest of my stay in Lisbon.

Like a kid in a candy shop - Edit
The first thing you see when you walk into this place is a vegan clothing shop. It’s pretty cool but you keep walking and get to a vegan cafe. Oh yea - but wait - it looks like this cafe has shelves and shelves of goods? It can’t be!?!? It is. A freaking vegan grocer with a HEFTY amount of shelves filled up with all kinds of epicness. Like the title of this review says, I was a kid in a candy shop.
Read moreFirst of all the cafe - cheap cheap cheap. Like 4 euros for a massive filling sandwich. Yea baby. It was a simple toastie with cheese and tomato but it HIT. THE. SPOT.
I also had some of Nicolas vegan chicken sandwich and it too was delicious.
My favourite part was the activity that took place when we were not eating - browsing the shelves of the store. I felt like I was little a kid in McDonald’s again, and I was playing in the playground before and after my happy meal.
The shelves were stacked with an array of vegan products I had never seen before (one of the fun things about visiting a new place). There was vegan tuna spread, an instant powdered tofu scramble and a vegan ravioli - just to name a few. Another mention is the massive BRICK of green vie mozzarella that I found. Oh how I’d sleep at night knowing I had that in my fridge.
All in all we got three drinks, two sandwiches, and a dessert pastry from the cafe, plus a jar of vego spread from the shop and the GRAND total was 20 euros.
I don’t have to say anything else.

Green Beans rocks! Just chowed down on their Seitan Chicken Sandwich and Sweet Potato Chips – mind blown! 🌱🍔 The seitan was crazy good! Piled high with fresh veggies and saucy goodness. And those Sweet Potato Chips? Crispy, golden perfection. 🍠✨ But wait, there's more! Tried their vegan pastel de nata too – flaky, creamy, and pure Portuguese perfection. 🥮🌿 Plus, the vibe and staff were super chill. If you're into awesome food, Green Beans is where it's at! 🙌🌟

Ich war zweimal hier und hatte das Not-chicken-Sandwich und die Pizza Alheira- beides war sehr lecker, die Preise sind absolut fair und das Personal freundlich. Auch im Laden finden sich tolle, vegane Dinge von Kleidung, über Schuhe, bis hin zu Lebensmitteln.
