Ordered the mushroom tofu jjigae, and steamed veggies and tofu. My Mum and I came at dinner time so there were less vegan options on the menu compared to lunch time.
Read moreNothing wrong with the food itself but rice did need to be ordered separately from the mushroom tofu jjigae, making this a pricey option for some steamed veggies and mushroom broth. I have a feeling that if I'd come at lunch time instead, my rating might be different? Maybe not?
My verdict: 2.75/4 ** HappyCow does not allow reviews out of 5 for restaurants with non-vegan options. Enjoyment of a restaurant is always subjective, but personally I preferred Osegyaehyang and Chungcheon Sujebi (also in the Insadong area) for value for money and more choices of vegan options.
Pros: Large portions - price reflects portions
Cons: Still pricey considering meal was only veg/tofu, Some vegan options only available at lunch

The place was surprisingly inviting, considering it was hidden in a small street. The food was well made, the price was good, and the staff was nice.
