Hit the spot!

Needed a quick bite to eat and stopped at one of the many NYC Gregory locations. This one was close to our hotel, The Library Hotel. Had a coffee and Vegan Deluxe. Tasty herby croissant with vegan egg, cheese, and beyond sausage.

They also have CocoOats, a vegan bar, protein bites, and a few other vegan selections.

Vegan junkfood...

If you're looking for a healthy breakfast you'll probably be disappointed. If you want the vegan version of an egg mc muffin this is your place!

Pros: Good coffee, Close to our hotel

Cons: Uninterested staff, Expensive?

Vegan food is junk, coffee is good

Disappointing vegan options. Lots of fat, no taste. Coffee is good though.

Decent cheap, quick vegan options

Gregory’s doesn’t have much vibe - it’s a brightly lit and tbh slightly tired looking coffee shop like a Starbucks. But I am grateful that in the desert of midtown Manhattan it has 5 vegan options on the menu, which are basically based on either beyond sausage and/or just egg. It’s not fancy but also not expensive (6.95 for a beyond and just egg sandwich) and the coffee is pleasant. At 8:30am in need of a bite, if hit the spot,

It feels unfair to rank it with the same star system as far fancier places, but in truth if you’re walking by in a hurry and need a quick vegan bite and coffee, it’s all good. If Starbucks, the closest comparison, had this menu, life would be easier for us all.

Pros: Designated vegan menu ft. high protein sandwiches, Quick , Affordable

Cons: Shop is a bit tired looking , No frills chain coffee place

Nice vegan options

I like the vegan options I tried here - not mind-blowing but great on the go food!

delicious & filling vegan breakfast

found this coffeeshop randomly and didn’t realize it was next to the empire state! very nice view for a breakfast in the city and the street is pretty calm. their menu has so many vegan options for pastries and drinks. i had the vegan deluxe croissant (vegan meat + just egg + vegan cheese) and a matcha latte. as of recently they also added a vegan burrito to their menu. other than that, they have a few very good pastries. such a nice coffeeshop to have in the city everywhere you go in manhattan (since it’s a chain!)

Pros: diverse vegan menu, delicious pastries, everywhere in manhattan

Decent chain coffee shop with some vegan items

Gregory's is a coffee chain, with many places around the city. The coffee is better than average, and they have a few vegan items if you are hungry and want a quick bite--nothing fancy by any means. This branch, next to a subway stop and very close to the Empire State Building, has a bunch of (non-intimate) places to sit after ordering your coffee at the counter. This is not a place to go out of your way for, but it fine for what it is. I work nearby, so I have been to this branch loads of times.
