We had an absolutely outstanding 5 star dining experience that exceeded all expectations. Every dish was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavour. The gyoza were perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicious, well-balanced filling, while the mock duck was incredibly rich and satisfying—an impressive and flavourful highlight. The pumpkin croquettes were another standout, wonderfully golden and crispy with a soft, subtly sweet centre.

A huge part of that was thanks to Chef Luke, who was not only incredibly skilled but also brought great energy and personality to the table. His cooking was flawless, and his interaction with guests made the experience even more enjoyable.
An exceptional meal paired with fantastic entertainment—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Fantastic experience and food - Edit
I went to a vegan teppanyaki evening here and the whole experience was amazing! The restaurant and the staff are so welcoming and the food was sensational! Really enjoyed watching Luke prepare and cook our food right in front of our eyes and telling us what he was doing step by step. The Gyozas are stunning and the tofu, pumpkin croquettes and mock duck was also great! Can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu.

Cannot wait to take friends/family here when they come to visit it. What a delicious culinary experience! I love a place that gives an immersive, escapism feel and it hit top marks with that, staff were all lovely roo. This was my first time here and is surpassed every expectation.

Tried this place after driving past it several times and was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options. As other reviews have mentioned they have a separate vegan menu, with bento boxes during the weekday, noodles, sushi and even a BBQ option which I tried and enjoyed. Stylishly decorated, with attentive staff, this was a great place to stop in for lunch on a rainy Saturday.

I’ve been to Guyshi 3/4 times and absolutely love it! They have a separate vegan menu with loads of options, with both vegetable and fake meat choices. Their vegan teppanyaki experience also rocks! Periodically holds exclusive vegan nights too. Cocktails are also elite.

Avoid - not safe for vegans! - Edit
Despite highlighting multiple times that we were all vegan and ordering exclusively from the vegan menu, serious mistakes were made. Our fried rice arrived containing egg, and worse, halfway through eating our fries we discovered a lump of chicken hidden underneath.
Read moreStaff were apologetic but didn’t seem to grasp the seriousness of serving animal products to vegan customers. Some vegan platter items were missing without explanation, and some starters never arrived or were served cold.
We had to ask to have missing and incorrect items removed from the bill, and while a discount was eventually given, no manager came over to apologise or address the situation properly.
Overall, the experience felt careless and unsafe for vegans. Would not recommend.
