If you are vegan or vegetarian, this place is heaven for you, but even if you aren’t the food will amaze you. Creative, beautiful, innovative, and satisfying for your pallet.
My suggestion is to visit this and have an incredible meal or some sumptuous cocktails under the stars.

Kapuhala is the new plant based restaurant on Samui island, with a spectacular view and wonderful environment. Not only do you get a beautiful setting, but the friendly staff and welcoming environment only add to the dining experience. Cocktails are prepared by highly skilled mixologist, which allows for a variety of flavours and exquisite presentation. Definitely a must do on this island!

Never ever miss Halapua it's a a must to go and eat! Went here to try out their menu, the Ambiance, orderliness and cleanliness a of the restaurant is commendable. Food were authentic gourmet dishes. From preparation to presentation, perfectly served by their staff.

Most Intimate place and 100% Vegan a must try! - Edit
Our family is a fan of trying out different places, cultures and of course food! Halapua is one for the books, word's may not be enough to describe how we fell in love it and enjoyed every moment we were there. The Atmosphere is perfect, friendly staff and one of the most memorable and 100% Vegan food if you are like me who always worry about animal products, well not here! They serve interesting flavour combinations the smell and just the look of it melts in your mouth, it was indeed a delight as they made us feel that this is not so ordinary dinner it was special :), but that's not all though even cocktails were vegan, no egg whites in it and surprisingly it's the best I've ever had! (Don't forget to try it when you are there, you'll regret it if you don't) Though you need to drive up the hill in order to get there, still once you get there it's well deserved after all, the place is perfect for every occasion, very cozy and family friendly! Will definitely come back for more!

Most innovative cuisine - Edit
I’m mostly plant based, meaning that when I can my preference goes to veggies. Lots of places though just toss you a salad or a wrap and that’s ok, but when I find a place that goes beyond that line and comes up with fine dining plant based food that’s when I get really excited!

My husband planned our 8-year anniversary celebration at Halapua. The all-vegan meal was amazing and the mixologist made me a special cocktail that wasn't on the menu - based on the instructions given by hubby. Very attentive service, beautiful view, it's one of the best restaurants I've been to celebrate a special occasion.

I was lucky to have my first dinner, after a 48days juicing, in Kapuhala Samui and it was amazing to taste this incredible vegan based food . Made with love and hand grown ingredients. Thank you all involved and I cant wait to be back to try those amazing cocktails while sitting in the sky

Thank you Halapua for having me at your soft launch. The food here is top notch. They are growing everything on site and offering a farm to table menu. The dishes offered are so various from vegan cheesecake to oyster mushroom sushi and everything inbetween. Everything was tasty and perfectly plated. Excellent concept of eating with others and getting to know them as well. An all around pleasant experience from start to finish.

This place far exceeded any and all expectations! The food was amazing, the staff super friendly and even met the manager and chef. I live in a place with sone of the best four in the world, this place could be in any high end city around the world. The falcons were perfectly crafted, presentation was phenomenal! This is the first real High End Plant Based experienced I had in Thailand. Maybe in the whole Asia continent. I advice having cocktails "Giardino di Stefano" on the terrace and then going for the scallop-mushroom for appetizer and mushrooms garden for main. Dessert: just try them all!!!

I came for dinner with my husband and my 2 kids. I'm the only one vegetarian, but we all enjoyed it a lot. Cocktails were the best I ever tried ! Food was delicious too, mix and match of ingredients was really interesting and new for me, flavours were balanced and subtle.

Unexpected Experience - Edit
This was one of the most interesting meal I have ever had in my life, everything was perfect, I was there for a celebration and I didn't care about a vegan cuisine but the cocktails looked good and I went. The cocktails are a master piece, "Giardino di Stefano" is named after the founder and it's a boiling green nootropic based cocktail, and looks like he is a crazy guy as well. Italian entrepreneur and accountant, also Ironman that built this Kapuhala retreat for athletes and foodies. Other cool cocktail is the "Mojito back to origin". After sipping cocktails on the rooftop we were heading out but decided to stay for dinner and despite the plant based uncertainty we luckily did stay. I have no words to describe the amount of pleasure we had from this dinner. We got two appetiser but the remarkable one is mushroom scallop. As a main the eggplants with vegan brie was epic although I struggled not to eat the Amaranth from my girlfriend to the point that we ordered another Amaranth as main. Dessert, thumbs down for the watermelon polenta although the concept is cool. The berry chocolate salty pie made the experience back again. Had a final cocktail just to top it up and went to sleep and felt nothing the day after. Life-changing. Pricing is fair compared to Europe (12-13EUR for a sophisticated yet abundant dish is fine) maybe a bit more then the standard Thai dinner but worth the money and more. Service is a bit slow but smiley.

Read moreIt is a fun dinning experience, even for non vegan. I love the polenta with cavier ( which is made with balsamic vinegar.it was very entertaining to guess how they prepare the dishes ( me and my partner were both entertained by just reading the menu )

The one that I had I think is “skyline “ good quilaty cocktails on this island !!!
Good portion with filling food.one the the few vegan resturants that I left the table full and not looking for night supper before bed ：）
The view is very nice too, open sea view with their infinity pool, good for a date night I guess. The resturant is a bit far from the main road, need to drive a bit in the jungle, but we made it.

I was so happy to come to this place on of the firsts! An amazing cozy place with great design. In the middle of the jungle - with sea view. An incredible experience - super tasty food, pretty big portions(for that concept), designed meals and very nice stuff. Super recommended for those, who wants to spoil themselves. 💕

100% plant based menu - Edit
It's refreshing to finally have a place that is truely 100% plant based/vegan. Absolutely nothing is on the menu with animal protien. If your looking for a side dish with meat, not gonna happen here. The food is a delight to eat. The creativity that goes into each dish surpasses any vegan place on the island. Tonight was a mushroom scallop they called Umi No Kinoko. Amazing, such flavor and the dish looked like a painting. The second was the sushi. Sweet potato sushi. The colors and taste was out of this world. The menu had many great chooses. I will definately be going back.
