Great veggie place in Leuven! - Edit
Great vegetarian place in Leuven. Enjoyable for everyone, not only vegetarians/vegans and very nice atmosphere, it's cozy and relaxed. Try the homemade lemonade as well, you are up for a treat!

Een leuke plek om te eten. Je hoeft niet altijd diep in het centrum van Leuven te zijn voor een zalige ervaring. Net aan de rand ligt dit huiskamer-sfeervol vegan restaurant. Op de kaart een perfecte variatie met keuze voor iedereen. En het smaakt naar nog eens! Met een bioscoop één verdieping lager, de perfecte place to be voor een date of een avondje uit.

The place is extremely beautiful with lots of plants and space, and cozy furniture. The menu is variegated and the food is delicious. Home made and flavourful. The portions are also very big! Don't miss their seitan worst as borrel, and the peanut-choco cheese cake as dessert!

we came after watching a film at the cinema which it is very conveniently located upstairs from.
Read morethe menu changes regularly which i’d imagine is a positive for locals, but was quite difficult for us as tourists. it is only hand written on one board which can hard to read if you are sat far away and is only in flemish so english speaking tourists probably aren’t their target audience lol. we got by with limited dutch knowledge and google translate but the waiter was good and told us what the things we couldn’t read were.
it was very busy when we arrived so this naturally meant the food took a while but as someone who works in hospitality, that’s very understandable. the burger patty and the tofu were good and while the rest was nice, it didn’t especially blow us away. there was very little aubergine with the aubergine bulgar and tofu salad thing and what there was wasn’t that well done. it’s possible that we just didn’t order the best options though since most other people seem to really like this place.
the lunch options seemed like they would have been nice if we were there earlier in the day though.

Zeer aangenaam restaurant op zeer kalme en gezellige locatie. Simpel maar stijlvol interieur, veel plaats. Was zeer aangename verrassing dat het volledig veganistisch is! Lekker eten, echt 'soulfood', gezond en voedzaam, uitgebreide keuze en ook goede keuze aan dranken.

The staff was nice. It is a really relaxed atmosphere, nothing fancy but this is what I like.
Great to go with friends and have a lovely night!
They had several dinner options, all vegan.
You can also have lunch there.

In love to eat at this place. Het strand has a changing menu so there's a 7 different choices every few months. I have never been disappointed when trying something new and there's always something for everyone.

We had the fennel-pear salad and the Baji onion burger with potato wedges. Both were super tasty. Both flavours and textures were on point!
Will definitely come again.
Pros: Original drinks menu o.a. water kefir and kombucha

The place is very nice, great decoration and perfect spot to have a drink outside and enjoy a vegan meal. Options were all very tasty, and we were positively surprised by the diversity of the menu in terms of cooking. However, too bad for the non seasonal vegetables used. Prices are fair, but the service was a bit slow and it could have been nice to stay for coffee / dessert if it was proposed...

Don't even think I can count on one let alone two hands the times we've been here. This place has everything - vibe (check - board games galore!) - cocktails & beers (check, personal favorite the mexican mule) - vegan food & desserts.
Read more10/10 would recommend both for lunch and dinner.
Oh and did I mention they have sausage from Le Seitanist as an appetizer 😎

Salade van tomaatjes met geroosterde nectarine en tofu is heerlijk! Eigenlijk zelden zo´n lekkere salade gegeten. Panini met portobello ook zeer lekker. Aanrader voor lunch!

Too bad we weren’t allowed to have both the tapenade & the hummus with the (mediocre) bread. The tapenade wasn’t really that good. The mustard that comes with the seitanworst is to die for! Wish we had more dips than bread.
No desserts / sweets available.
Very good fresh orange juice, lots of beers to choose from. Lasagne was heartwarming 😋
