great falafel!! - Edit
Without a doubt the highest energy restaurant I’ve ever been to hahahaha. The guy making our bowls was awesome, and the food was authentic and delicious. Hummus rocked. Highly recommend for an excellent lunch. Would be 5 stars except it's not fully vegan.

No longer vegan local falafel spot - Edit
Unfortunately having to update my previous review here as this place is no longer vegan.
Read moreIt now also serves Chicken and halloumi dishes, which to someone like myself who is vegan for the animals, is disappointing.
The falafel plate is still there and tasty as is the wrap with home made falafel fried in front of you.

Updated happy cow on this multiple times for weeks now but they don’t seem to change it unfortunately . Serves chicken and cheese :(

Reported a change as well, no difference apparently. Shame. Paid for this app when it wasn’t free, and now this.

I've just reported it as well. I went there today as the app said it was vegan and was shocked and disappointed that it wasn't.

Hibox - Edit
Great Deliveroo option. The food delivers well and arrives warm and very tasty. I ordered a vegan platter and lentil soup. I fell in love with the lentil soup, it was creamy and full of flavor, which is A !

Best falafel - Edit
My friend took me here as she said it was TripAdvisor's #2 restaurant in London, it did not disappoint! I had the falafel wrap - the falafel itself was perfect and the salad and pickles packed generously inside were a great combo of flavours. delightful server gave us sauces on the house too, will definitely be back for more!

Falafel was fried to order, and served with hummus and crunchy pickles in a proper flatbread. It felt like such a friendly, welcoming place, too. Would be here every day if I lived closer

Fantastic falafal - Edit
The owner Tariq is great. He threw in four ice teas, had to deal with quite a difficult order and he was resolute! Helpful! Then one falafal we'd ordered wrong (with chilli sauce and was for a child so she couldn't eat it) he responded by simply changing it, no charge.
Read moreThen he brought a falafal to his mate opposite.
I'm visibly observably Jewish, he's Palestinian, and there was only respect. ❤️🙏
Pros: Owner is great and friendly, Food tastes great, Free iced tea the time we went
Cons: Not much seating so we sat outside but only single

Very good-ge falafels - Edit
Plump green falafels cooked freshly to order. Crispy on the outside, herby and soft on the inside. Flatbread not pitta, generous on the hot sauce, and an amazing array of salads –particularly enjoyed the tabbouleh with golden raisins and the bite to the red cabbage. This family-run business has to be one of London's best falafel joints.

The best fast food - Edit
Falafel - the green kind - are freshly fried to order and served with salads in flatbread (rather than pitta).
Read moreThe salad box is jam packed - every mouthful is different - just note that the layered presentation may not be for flavour purists😄I loved the addition of golden raisins to the tabbouleh for a pop of sweetness.
Friendly service and great value - it really puts the £5.99 for the Burger King vegan chicken royale in perspective.

Ever since Beetroot on Berwick Street closed down five years ago, I’ve craved a proper salady lunch. I discovered Hibox a few days ago and I can’t keep away, and I’m not even a vegan or vegetarian. Maybe it’s a sign...
