Read moreLa torta cubana is sure to keep you satisfied for a whole day! Also, the chocolate cake is amazing, but it is not always available, so check ahead if you can. Casual and friendly staff. If you want to take, bring your own containers, everything here is very eco-friendly.

We ate here for our final night of the trip and it was honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had! The staff were very nice and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was a good price and all fresh and homemade. We all loved the food. Definitely some of the best vegan food I’ve ever eaten.

Read moreWe were very regular customers here. However the last time we came when after they moved to the new location they told us we were not allowed to park in front of the restaurant in case the owner would come and wanted to park there instead. They treated us very unfriendly and told us they didn't want us to park even anywhere in the street of the restaurant, even though it's a public street. Needless to say we left without eating and have since never returned nor are we planning to ever come back.
Old review:
Lovely place in a nice outdoor garden in which they grow their own herbs and some vegetables. Lot’s of options to choose from. Has tacos, sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, pizzas (after 5pm) and more.

I really wish I could give this Cafe 5 stars but the amount of times it's let me down i can't. Being dependable and sticking to your posted hours is part of the service of a business and if they do that poorly, then the service is lacking. Out of all the vegan cafes in Merida this is probably the one you can count on to not be open or delivering when they say they are. I've wasted several taxi rides to the Cafe only to get there to find they are closed for some random reason. With that being said, make sure you call before your visit and don't plan on them for dinner for delivery because 7 times out of 10 they can't. If you do catch them open enjoy their food as it's some of the best vegan food in thr city.

I went here for dinner with my non-vegan boyfriend and we were both so impressed! The service was lovely, the portions were generous, the food was awesome and the prices were fair!
Read moreWe started with the mango juice and the Sikil Pak (a traditional pumpkin seed dip) with tortilla chips which came with lots of delicious sauces as an appetizer. I’ve really been wanting to try “tortas” which are sandwiches traditionally made with meat, so we ordered the cubana torta, the chorizo torta and also a quesadilla gringa. For dessert, I had the chocolate cake which had a light icing and fresh berries on top.
I’d recommend everything we had, particularly the quesadilla gringa, the appetizer and the cake😍
We stayed in Centro, so we had to take an Uber out to the restaurant but it was totally worth it since I’ve had a bit of a hard time eating out in Merida. More people need to support this place, I would totally go back again soon to try the rest of the menu!

Best vegan quesadillas - Edit
I come to Merida often and have tried most of their menu. The quesadilla gringa is my favorite. The pizzas are very good, I also like their hotdogs, banana bread and drinks. The service is very nice. They make everything from scratch and use eco friendly practices and products, I always appreciate that! The location is cute.
Read moreSeating is not super comfy so my dad likes to bring a pillow to sit on. I don’t mi d it. Just like any other restaurant, some things are better than others. Oh yeah, I’ve also had some very delicious specials and the prices are economical.
One of my favorite restaurants in Merida! The love is palpable!

Affordable all-vegan Mexican-style food 🌮 - Edit
I have been ordering food every week from them for the last three months. The food is healthy, delicious, and homemade. They have a lunch menu that changes every week at a very good price (only 70 pesos). In addition, they care for the environment by being zero waste so make sure to bring your Tupperware when you pay them a visit. Also, there evening location is pet-friendly! :)
