Hum was pretty nice but I wouldn't feel the need to return with all the similar options in Berlin. The portion sizes were small for the price, our group ended up having to order a couple extra dishes. We had a udon curry dish with vegan duck, that was the nicest dish. The rice dish with tofu wrapped in seaweed was interesting and something different. The mixed starters platter was not worth ordering.

There are several excellent vegan Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin, and this is one of them. The menu is huge, making it challenging to choose, but I'm thinking you can't go wrong. The juice is also good.

They have daily specials with a fair price. The one I ate was ok. The tomato sauce was not so tasty. I would say it is an average food. It is ok for a quick lunch, but not special.

Busy and noisy, but very tasty food and good service - Edit
We went on a Wednesday evening in March, and it was very busy, maybe just because there was a large party present that evening, but it is clearly essential to make a reservation. The restaurant was quite loud, but service was quick and the waiting staff very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and the portions (for the noodle soups) were generous. Prices are very reasonable, too.

My favorite local vegan Vietnamese in a city full of decent-to-very-good vegan Vietnamese. Even my meat-eating friends love eating here, so it's a good all-vegan restaurant for a mixed group as well. Highly recommended.

Vegane Speisekarte, keine Sorgen etwas nicht veganes zu bekommen. Die gemischten Vorspeisen sind sehr gut und auch alle Hauptgerichte waren sehr lecker. Der Preis ist mehr als angemessen! Kleiner Punktabzug, weil "Sonderwunsch" (Zutat abbestellt, weil schmeckt der Person nicht) vergessen wurde.

We ate there several times because the food is good, but we were diappointed with the service every time. We often had to wait because the waiters were talking to each other instead of working. One waiter is very unfriendly, he seems to be waiting for big tip and gets rude if it isn't enough.
