Read moreMy partner and I shared Falafels, Iron salad (mango, quinoa n lentil - ask for vegan version) and the most delish mushroom hummus ever with pita. I’ve eaten A LOT of hummus in my time but this is poss the best I’ve ever had. Dramatic I know.
The complimentary pink house drink was also very nice and refreshing and the complimentary baklava yummy also.
Good service. Can’t fault the place!
I need to go back and try a diff flavour hummus!!

Most of Chiang Mai’s vegetarian restaurants serve Southeast Asian food, so Middle Eastern Mediterranean Lebanese food at Hummus Chiang Mai really stood out when we first looked it up. Although on the pricier side, Hummus Chiang Mai’s dishes (especially its pita pockets) are absolutely delicious. The restaurant has won awards for its splendid hummus, meticulously made with the right balance of chickpea paste, oil and spices. Some dishes have egg, but staff are very friendly and they make adjustments for vegan & other diets.

The best Middle Eastern food in CM - Edit
I have been a regular customer in the three years that the restaurant has been open and it remains consistently good, reasonably priced and great service. There really isn't a bad dish on the menu. The hummus is so creamy and smooth with many different toppings to choose from. The pitta is fluffy and light but with enough body to scoop up all the delicious dips. The falafel is just the right combination of crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The roasted cauliflower should be made illegal. I'm not sure how something so simple can be that good!

I had the falafel starter and fries, simple examples of how the food should be before exploring more. I won’t be back, everything was nearly burnt and the falafel was cooked too fast, it should be done slowly so the inside cooks through. Flavor was good though, just not recommended

I had the avocado hummus which was perfect. I also ordered a few falafel balls, and was surprised to see they were quite large and each one served in a separate little dish - probably didn't need so many.

Nice to see a vegetarian Middle Eastern restaurant - Edit
I ended up unable to visit the location, as time ran out - I ordered takeaway, and what I got from that was delicious falafel and silky hummus, wrapped in fluffy pita and given a spicy and tahini sauce on the side. I truly wish I was able to try more of the dishes, but just from that wrap alone I would highly recommend paying Hummus a visit!

Went here two times during my stay in Chiang Mai. Both the iron salad and vegan shashuka are delicious 🙏. There are many vegan options and a lot of dishes can also be made vegan. Nice little modern Middle eastern vibe in the city. Because of the location it has also a calm atmosphere directly in Old City.

This only gets 4/5 stars due to serving dairy and eggs. If they went vegan, they'd be an easy 5 stars. The menu is extensive, huge range of clearly labelled vegan and veganisable options. Staff fully aware of what vegan is. And the food itself... omg I'd died and gone to heaven. Every dish was incredible, especially the dolmas, ratatouille, cauliflower pita and baklava. With so many incredible vegan places in Chiang Mai, this could get easily overlooked. But please go here! It's worth every baht!

Amazing place to share a meal in a group. The waiter was amazing and the mixed meal reminds of European eastern style of eating. The house made rose drink is extremely tasteful and we got a small portion to try when arriving there. The food is good, but the taste of the Hummus isn't as good as traditional Israeli Hummus.
