Good food, but weird atmosphere - Edit
They had a great amount of vegan option, almost half of their menu. The gyoza and 2 vegan ramen dishes were good. The atmosphere was weird and didn't match the food. The appetizer and ramen came out within 5 mins of ordering, and the music was a fast-paced electronic club music. Everything just felt sort of rushed.

We had the vegan gyozas (that were to good for me to have the time to take a picture..they were all gone), vegetarian sweet potatoes croquettes and ramen. The ramen were all delicious, my favorite one is the spicy vegantan, so good!
Plus, it was really cheap for the large portions!

I got the “fauxkotso” and it had these thin crispy meaty stick strips and they were tasty! Different to ramen I’ve had before in terms of ingredients, but I liked it. Would like to go back and try more flavours!

Best vegan ramen I’ve ever had - Edit
My partner and I visited this busy and cosy Japanese restaurant during the Edinburgh Fringe festival. The service was ok, staff seems rushed but understandable given the time of year. I got the vegantan ramen, which was hands down one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever eaten. The broth was incredibly umami, nicely spicy and tremendously flavourful. The faux meat was a great addition and the saffron was a nice touch. We also got the edamame which was simply steamed without any additions but it didn’t need anything else as it tasted fresh and of great quality. It’s unfortunately forever raised the bar of what I expect from a great ramen!

Non vegan ramen my friend had was really good, mine vegan wasnt the best - broth was tasteless, I would prefer udon noodles and there wasn’t enough veg in to give it a taste. I did ask for seaweed and mushrooms, wasnt charged for this extra and it was tastier . Really nice cocktails and service

A few vegan options which are clearly labeled. There are two locations, one is much smaller and also has a smaller menu, but nonetheless vegan options (not as many as the bigger branch). Delicious and cozy

Really nice food, the vegan chicken was lovely and the bacon bits. Only thing is that I noticed they use V for vegan and VG for vegetarian which is the opposite from most places and was a bit confusing. Good place for eating with non veggie/vegan people

Loved that there were four vegan ramen options! The vegan tonkatsu ramen is divine with faux pork bits and tasty bok choy. The gyoza and kimchi were fabulous as well. I only removed a star because two vegan ramens came with eggs in them.
