Best vegan pizza in San Antonio - Edit
Il Forno is of the only (if not the only?) pizza place in San Antonio that actually makes their own vegan cheese. I appreciate when a pizza place offers Daiya or whatever other store-bought vegan cheese, but honestly that stuff isn’t that good. Il Forno makes a delicious cashew-based soft cheese in-house that can be substituted for dairy cheese on any of their pizzas, meaning vegans have a bunch of very creative pizza options to choose from their menu. It’s the best Neapolitan-style pizza in San Antonio hands-down.

Great V-boi Pizza - Edit
One of the best vegan pizzas I've ever had! Not listed on the online/website menu but called ahead and asked about vegan options and the person who answered the phone doubled checked and they had their cashew mozz in stock which they said they could swap it for the dairy mozz on any pizza. The in-restaurant menu lists the V-boi pizza as vegan as is which is what we ended up getting. It has cashew mozz, mushroom

6:30 on a Friday so got the happy hour price of $2
off the red pizza (so it ended up being $16) plus $8 happy hour wine and $4 happy hour draft beer. The cashew mozz was so gooey and tasty, the dough was soft, and the rest of the toppings were fantastic especially the peppers (a little spicy) and the mushroom sausage. My non-vegan dining partner also agreed the pizza was fantastic. Will definitely be back to get the pizza again! Would rate 5 stars (not an option in the app since this is a non vegan restaurant).
