Great vegan-friendly Indian food! - Edit
Ordered takeaway via phone but accidentally placed an order for the Buda location and not the Pest location (phone numbers were not listed on Google but only at the bottom of their website). If ordering delivery, ensure you’re calling the right location! Even with this logistical mix-up, the waitstaff at the Pest location were very accommodating and friendly. Helpful in clarifying what dishes can be made vegan.
Read moreOrdered Tofu Masala (very tasty), Vegetable Biryani (good but not amazing), and Aloo Paratha (delicious and vegetarian but not vegan).
*Beware it seems it’s not customary for takeaway orders to include disposable utensils in Budapest*

Indigo has a great selection of clearly marked vegetarian and vegan dishes and the waiters are knowledgeable and helpful as well.
Read moreI tried the cauliflower-potato and the spinach-lentil vegan dishes and both were excellent.
My omni friends were happy with their choices as well.

Great Indian food - Edit
A former restaurant owner recommended to have dinner at Indigo and it didn't disappoint me. The staff is friendly, they have dedicated pages for their vegan options on their menu and the food is very delicious. I had Bhindi Do Pyaza with Roti. It was the most amazing okra dish I ever had!

Cons: When you order Roti, they just serve two slices.

Amazing indian food - Edit
Amazing indian food with a dedicated vegan menu. You'll have to look up the dishes in the vegetarian part of the menu for more information about the dish, but it is so worth it. A true flavour explosion. Very large restaurant but seating still feels secluded, a good vibe and very capable staff. If youre with a larger group, a reservation is recommended. We had the Okra, Aloo Gobi, Biryani and white rice for main and the mix Pakora to start with. Waiter repeated that is was vegan when serving, which was a nice bonus. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone that likes indian food, the Bhindi (Okra) was the best of its kind I've tasted

Best vegan curry in the city - Edit
The best vegan curry in the city. They will make most meals vegan if you ask for it to be made. It’s not on their menu and if they aren’t too busy they will normally accommodate it.

Great experience - Edit
The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and it may have been a little pricier than average in Budapest but still very affordable (for Dutch standards at least). Overall, great experience.

Good food, rude waiter - Edit
One of the waiters was extremely rude, otherwise good. After telling the manager about the rude waiter I felt like the waiter wanted to kill me, looking at me funny. Was genuinely scared.

Great food - fantastic service - Edit
We came at 8 pm without a reservation and was told we could get a table at 9 pm. We really wanted to eat there so we would just go for a walk while waiting. We did not get very far before the waiter came running to tell us that he just got a table for us anyway - that was really sweet.
Read moreThe food was very good and portions were large. I can recommend splitting different dishes as they are served in separate bowls and not on a plate. I did not find it to be expensive. We were a family of four and the total for just dinner was HUF 11,000.- We just ordered one dish for our two kids together.
Consider to make a reservation to be sure to get a table.
