Do yourself a favor and go to Costa instead

Awful, really terrible service, lady at the counter raising her voice at me, 10 seats for patrons, but nowhere to charge a phone… yes, a “takeaway only” place with 10 seats. LOL

We should start by addressing the way our staff was treated during your visit. Just awful.

Our team always try to provide the best possible service, and it is essential (and expected) that they are treated with respect and courtesy. Raising one's voice at our staff is not acceptable under any circumstances.

Regarding the lack of phone charging stations, in Ireland, it is not mandatory for takeaway coffee shops to have phone charging facilities. Also, you were going off customer’s allowed area to plug your phone without even asking our staff if reaching that area was allowed, lol?

We aim to create a cozy and welcoming environment for our patrons to enjoy their drinks and bites on the go, and while we have a limited number of seats available, we believe it enhances the experience of those who choose to stay a bit longer with us.

If what you are looking for is a big table to sit down with your laptop and spend the day charging your gadgets, yes, you should certainly go to Costa.

Although, they won’t even let you in if you show up with your touring bike, or give you a full refund of food and drinks already served. I think you forgot to mention that 😉.

Oh, and good luck finding good quality vegan food and drinks over there 🤣.

Firstly I live in Bristol which completely blows away the paltry offerings you may have as far as choice. Secondly, your staff member raised her voice at me first, and demanded, “listen here”. We don’t do this in a civilized society. Sounds like the owners/managers of your HappyCow account need retraining in customer service as well. Sad.
