Had the Nordic by Nature dish: kale, caramelised potatoes and sausages with a side salad. It was delicious!

Absolutely loved it! I had the scrambled tofu with dates and dried tomatoes (excellent). The other plates were also beautiful and excellent! It’s vegetarian but extremely easy to eat vegan!

Wir hatten ein leckeres Mittagessen im IVY. Leider waren bereits einige Speisen ausverkauft, weshalb die Auswahl nicht mehr ganz so groß war. Außerdem war es sehr voll und dadurch total laut.

Transfeindliche Toilettenkennzeichnung - Edit
Die Toiletten sind mit einer halben Papaya und einer Aubergine gekennzeichnet. Soll das heißen, dass ich mich nach der Form meiner Genitalien zum Händewaschen und beim Toilettengang einsortieren soll? Normalerweise geht das ja nach Gender. Jetzt ist das binäre Sortieren auf den Toiletten sowieso immer feindlich gegenüber nichtbinären und agender Personen. Leider ist es trotzdem noch vielerorts üblich, aber das hier in dem Café setzt noch einen drauf. Ich habe mich als trans Mensch, der nicht ganz in die binäre Geschlechterordnung passt, sehr unwohl gefühlt.

Es gibt eine kleine Auswahl an Speisen, die oftmals auch vegan bestellt werden können. Wenn sie es nicht eh schon sind. Wir waren am Wochenende gegen Mittag. Es war ein hoher Andrang, trotzdem haben wir nur relativ kurz warten müssen. Alle im Café sind super freundlich. Rund um Wohlfühlfaktor.

The food was crazy good, the prices not steep at all for Hamburg, portions huge, so everything was just perfect. The coffee also super good. Definitely recommend coming here for brunch.

Der frischgepressten Saft ist sehr lecker, ebenfalls gibt es Getränke aus Saft, Tee und Heidelbeeren. Große Empfehlung!

Read moreDas Essen war köstlich, und die Portionen groß. Hier wird man satt mit einer Portion, egal wer man ist! Da war vielleicht ein bisschen zu viel Fett in meinem Essen, das hat etwas schnell gesettigt. Ich habe Stulle Deluxe mit Auberginen Tartar und Soyastreifen in Teriyaki Soße bestellt. Sehr lecker aber!
Ein kleiner Punkt zur Verbesserung wäre die Lautstärke im Café. Bei dieser Popularität, die ich erlebt habe, ist es ein bisschen eng und laut im Café - vielleicht könnte man dämpfende Panele im Raum installieren. Nur eine Idee😄Die Beliebtheit kann ich aber nachvollziehen.
