Best Ramen in Tokyo! - Edit
My partner and I came across this place while we were done eating at a nearby vegan spot. We saw that they had vegan ramen and came back the next day. We went back plenty of times during our stay in Tokyo. Their broth is sooo rich and flavorful. The entire process was easy to order food. We ordered and payed from a kiosk and waited to be seated. Your food is ready when your number pops up on the screen. I highly recommend coming here!

Do yourself a favor vegans, get over your pride of going to exclusively vegan places and try their Spicy Miso and Tantamen now!! Best ramen in Japan and around the world.

Several Vegan Ramen Options - Edit
In a food court mall setting downstairs near Shibuya crossing, this place has several vegan ramen options available: vegan miso, spicy vegan miso, vegan tantanmen, and vegan tantanmen without soup. You are able to order on a screen outside the restaurant, then wait to be seated and your order to be called.
Read moreI had the vegan miso, and it was average. Good flavor, but nothing to write home about. My partner had the Tantanmen, and he loved the spicy flavor at the start. Near the bottom of the bowl, it had a bit of a cumulative effect for him, and he was breathing some fire near the end. Had we thought of it, we would have combined our soups, or at least shared halfway through. Overall, we loved having several vegan options to choose from, and price was reasonable. Would come here again!

The restaurant is located in a shopping center. You place your order electronically at a machine. There are four vegan options, most (maybe all) of which contain garlic. We had the Miso and the Spicy Miso Ramen. Although I like spicy food, this was pretty spicy. If you don't like spicy food, I would definitely advise against it. Otherwise, the broth was delicious, the toppings were tasty, the staff friendly and the prices fair.

My friend and I waited for over 10 minutes on Friday night, and it was worth it. What we really enjoyed here was the option to add extra spice for just around 100 yen. Make sure to order your food at the machine before queuing.

Delicious taste, can’t compared to the usual Tan-tan Ramen, since it is the first time I tried, but still, it’s delicious, not expensive, nice portion, and the staffs were super nice to us.

Has four options for vegan ramen. We had the miso ramen and the tantanmen and they were both delicious and good portions. Good thick flavor, and additional addons like menma and mizuna if you like. Great place if you’re with non-vegans as well. You might have to line up though, on busy days.

Wife and daughter really liked the dry vegan tantan noodle option even though they don't care for ramen. They found it tasty and the Chewy noodles were lovely. Same great chewy noodles were in my spicy miso ramen. The noodles are great because they aren't the typical skinny noodles but the broth was typical salty miso. Son's wet tantan noodles were typical skinny 'ramen' noddles. He ranked them 3.5 out of 4 stars.

We enjoyed the delicious bowls of ramen at Jikasei Mensho! There's a wide selection, including traditional ramen dishes like miso ramen, but I can highly recommend the tantanmen ramen.
Read moreThe restaurant also had a handy allergen chart. There's a vegan izakaya on the same floor of the building, so there's another option nearby in case Jikasei Mensho is busy. And the roof garden at the top of the building offers great views!
