Fully vegan menu. Offer Yorkshire puddings on a Sunday. - Edit
They offer a vegan Sunday dinner which includes Yorkshire pudding. The food was very tasty, portion size slightly disappointing. The rest of the menu is junk food i.e burgers, fries. Everything is vegan.

Who doesn’t like a bit of junk food? Combine a great mix of flavours with a relaxed atmosphere, decor and large selection of both alcoholic and soft drinks it’s a pure winner in my book.

I’ve eaten the burgers when they’ve had a stall at our local market and even had a couple of drinks at the bar in Beverley but this was my first sit down meal - ahead of an evening of wonderful talks about pigeons, growing sea weed and carbon literacy.
Read moreThe food is exactly as described. Junk food smothered in various sauces. I’m not really a sauce person but the food really worked and being able to pick anything off the menu knowing it’s sans cruelty is wonderful.
Add in a relaxed but vibrant ambiance with people who share your values. What’s not to love?

We visited on their 1st birthday of being in their new premises and I had the onion bhaji burger which was immense.
I also love their Sunday dinners. ✔️

B had garlic ch*cken strips, which were just that, six breaded ch*cken strips. I had the loaded fries with garlic ch*cken, which thankfully was only one ch*cken strip chopped up, and it came with red pepper and spring onions. The food was nice.
I’m looking forward to going back to have the Sunday Lunch.

The pub/restaurant is a beautiful space with great music. We were there on a Thursday and it was not too busy. I had the Jamaican jerk chicken burger, my wife had the smash burger, we were both very satisfied.

100% vegan restaurant with the most delicious junk food ever. From the burgers to the sides everything is delicious. Couldn't reccommend more, regularly make a 1hr drive and make non vegans eat here too to prove how delicious and unbelieveable vegan food can be.

Great food menu, lots of choice and everything I’ve had from here has been delicious and tasty. Great drinks menu too, which changes regularly offering new options, and they’re always happy to provide a taster if you’re struggling to decide! Staff are really friendly, the music is worth visiting for alone 😉, a great vibe and keep your eye on their socials as they host some great events. Definitely one to visit, you will not be disappointed.

Read moreI had the Jerk Pineapple burger and my daughter the classic cheeseburger. Both come with skinny fries. My Americano with oat was good. Daughter had a coke. Can't really go wrong with vegan junk food, probably too much sauce in my burger next time I would ask for a lot less. But yes I would go back. Service was nice smiley and friendly.

We have eaten here many time since Junk Soul Smothered ran the kitchen for Atom Bar and subsequently when it became Junk Bar. The food has always been fantastic. It is one of, and perhaps the best, Vegan burger bar (or any burger bar for that matter) we have experienced. As my wife says in many a Vegan burger place, be it in this country or somewhere abroad “This is good, but its not Junk Soul Smothered”. It is also nice to have a beer selection that you don’t have to research to find out if it’s Vegan. The staff are always helpful and polite. The owner is very personable.

I've been a fan for many years, from the early days of delivery and first trying those scoffles, to the pop-ups, joining Atom, and finally evolving into Junk Bar in the same venue.
Read moreThe staff are awesome (Andy is a legend), and the food is exceptional—the Vegan Vampire alone is a must (As was the Everything Burger, the Cheesesteak and their original burgers alone are fab). It’s the only place where you can get truly 100% vegan, crispy, junk-style fries with a burger, along with the iconic scoffles. Now, as a pub, they offer an amazing, rotating selection of boozey drinks, plus coffee and cake among various other delights (Junk Soul fudge spotted last time).
They host cool pop-ups (And have done their own; I was a massive fan of the World themed burgers just(and a smidge) opposite my home on Newland at Mr Moody's; I will take more of those if possible, turned up two nights in a row last time), events like book readings, and even a Sunday lunch—Junk style—with Yorkshire pud included.
For those in Hull, it’s just a quick bus ride, and the venue is conveniently located across the road from the stop. In the summer, it’s a pleasant bike ride from Newland Ave, taking about 50 minutes—a great way to earn the ‘Everything Burger’
Also side note: awesome branding. I still have some original JSS art (From the pop up days during lockdown and the comic book they did; collectors pieces).

I can highly recommend the sunday lunch yorkshire pudding roast. Everything was delicious. Just how a roast dinner should be. Great to have yorkshire pudding and lots of gravy. Staff friendly and helpful. I will be back!

Since Junk has proudly served burgers from Beverly. We have been coming for our vegan delights. After countless trips never have we had a bad burger or experience. Always has it been amazing, tasty and with lovely staff, a fab vibe and more than enough food to feed a hungry mumma! So invested in this amazing place we even backed them on kickstarter because we never want to lose this incredible place. Thank you Junk Bar!!!!
