Great food! Sell out of things early - Edit
I was very sad the chicken rice I was looking forward to was sold out by the time we arrived at around 6:30 pm but we really enjoyed our curry noodle soup and roasted chicken noodle dish. The clear broth that came with the chicken noodle dish tasted so incredibly like chicken broth - the closest thing I've ever had to it while vegan. I'm glad we also got a side of seasonal vegetables since the other dishes didn't have much veggies.

Simple and affordable vegetarian food at City Hall area - Edit
A small, simple and affordable vegetarian food store at City Hall area. It's just right behind National Gallery Singapore. They have a simple menu and the taste is not bad. Try not to go during lunch hours as it will be difficult to find seats. Kale can consider to re-organise the store to have more individual seats(like a Jap Ramen shop) to accommodate to more customers. Small group seatings can be arranged in the middle.

Cons: Store too small, Too crowded during lunch hour

Small and cute restaurant - Edit
This restaurant is small and cute. Food is good, I ordered the signature chicken noodles. Requested them to give me soup on the side. I’ve had the wanton ramen soup before which I like better than the signature dish. Kind staff. Smaller tables but not comfortable😄

Tasty vegan food - Edit
After reading a review on Happy Cow, was delighted to find that Kang Su was very close to my accommodation. Really enjoyed a healthy, hearty, very reasonably priced vegan meal. The fried tofu, which I ordered as a side (with chilli & sesame seeds - yum!) was a highlight for me. Will definitely go back again. Note that it’s cash or local share-pay apps only.

Highly Recommend the Kale Signature Chicken Noodles - Edit
Opened by the younger generation of Kang Su Vegetarian’s owners, Kale by Kang Su Vegetarian is a relatively new concept~ While they serve some typical local Chinese items and/or popular items by Kang Su Vegetarian such as the Thai Sauce Chicken Cutlet and Ban Mian, they have also introduced some new dishes unique to each outlet. (Strangely no kale in any of the dishes hahaha) Would recommend the Kale Signature Chicken Noodles at the Adelphi outlet! Some other dishes unique to this outlet are the Kale Guo Mian (which I still haven’t had the luck of trying despite multiple visits) and Curry Ramen. They recently launched a new special Tom Yum Ban Mee Soup which was not bad; would like to see further additions to the menu in the future! Linked to City Hall MRT, just opposite Funan Mall. It’s a quiet mall with a humble setting, but the food is relatively tasty and at wallet-friendly prices. Wish they could use plant mylks for their drinks to make their eateries fully vegan though!

Good food, good price, good people - Edit
The menu was just nice to provide different kind of choices and not overwhelming.
Read moreThe restaurant was tiny, maybe just 15-20 chairs, so everyone sit tight and one might need to request those used a seat to put their belongings to remove their stuff, in order to have a place to sit & eat.
Order the food and pay at the counter, get the food when your number is called. Clean up your place by putting plates at the designated trolley after meal.
I really like the chicken rice made with tofu skin. One of the best meals during my short visit to Singapore.
It was a short walk from Cityhall MRT inside the shopping mall and a short walk to the Peranakan Museum.
Pros: Food, Price, Staff
Cons: Tiny space

Small place in odd location, worth seeking out - Edit
When I dream of vegetarian restaurants, I never picture them in malls filled with stereo equipment but here we are. Go upstairs, it's on L2.
Read moreMy experience here made this place very memorable. I went in and found out they were cash only, I had no cash so I was going to leave. This nice local couple jump up and essentially refuse to let me leave and insist on buying me dinner. I'm really uncomfortable taking anything from people but they were very insistent (in a friendly way) and wouldn't even let me get their contact details or anything.
I had a noodle soup ( the #1 I believe) and it was very good, nice fake meat, nice flavor, good portion size.

This is an amazing, small very reasonably priced cafe inside the Adelphi Shopping Mall which is an interesting mix of HiFi shops and beauty parlours.

Homey and Delicious! - Edit
It’s not fancy. But it’s fair prices for some very tasty food. The house made hot sauce is amazing. We had a side of veggies, the Yuan Yang Rice, and Kale Signature Chicken Noodles. Chicken is made from tofu skin (yuba), and sauces are very good. We’d come again for sure!
